Excellent!! My experience was with Enoch, the barber – a very friendly fellow. I’m leaving 5 stars because I have difficult hair to style and I almost never feel satisfied with my cuts. Enoch is an artist, he’s very passionate about his craft. Clearly, he gets it. I got a cut I love for once. Guys you need Enoch to cut your hair. Affordable too.

I have lived in Sarasota for 2 and a half years trying to find the right salon/barber shop to cut my hair. Tried many different ones to no avail. This week I stopped in at the Grooming Lounge in Gulf Gate Village. Dave gave me one of the BEST haircuts I have ever had. He listened to me, and talked me though what he was doing. When finished I smiled from ear to ear! What a great job! I have found the place I have been looking for….Fabulous job, Dave. You now have a regular customer!!!

It was great! Stumbled across it on Google for my boyfriend to get his beard groomed, but I got my hair cut instead! I have long lady hair and I was in and out with a great fresh cut. My sister even came by and got her hair cut too! We have long (unkempt at times) hair, and the Grooming Lounge sent us out with soft, lovely locks! Thanks! Decor was super adorable too.

We were at the Grooming Lounge, because my Dad needed a hair cut. Arrived 5:15pm on a Thursday (9/24/15). Shop was closed without any notice in the windows, very disappointing.

I used to get my hair cut here when I was a child. I’ve never been particular about my hair but when I need it cut well for an important event/meeting, I always make sure I get it cut here as soon as I get into town. Best Princeton cut you’ll ever get. Ever.

Called by last week at 5:15, found them by searching for Barbers in Gulf Gate and they were closed. I saw the other reviews below too late. Ended up going to the new barbers on Gateway Avenue, great service and won’t be back at the Grooming Lounge!

My son and I both got haircuts here this weekend and we both had to go elsewhere to get our haircuts fixed. Unbelievable! My expectations are very low when it comes to haircuts but this was the worst haircut I have gotten in 30 years. DO NOT LET THEM CUT YOUR HAIR!
