I have been going to Grondin’s for 5 years now and I have to say that I’m very happy with the experience and environment. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and willing to work with your requests. I have Ashley cut my hair and her professionalism and demeanor with her clients is always top notch. She greets you with a smile and does an excellent job meeting your styling requests. She will sometimes offer friendly suggestions, which I appreciate since I usually get the same cut. And I find her knowledge about cutting and styling hair to be superior to other stylists I’ve gone to in the past. She will explain to you nuances about your hair and why a certain style may or may not work based on your hair type that I just didn’t know before I went to her. She also keeps the conversation light and friendly, which is something every customer should appreciate when they visit a salon.

They are very friendly and give great haircuts. I’ve never had a bad haircut by anyone. The nice thing about Grondins is everyone styling and cutting hair has to go through school. I walked in after work needing a simple haircut desperately but not wanting to pay $30 for one! So I saw Grondins only charged $15 & they had a $2 of coupon! So after work I stopped in Coupon in hand, and put my name on the list! I waited a good 35-40 minutes, they were busy & only had two Stylists working. So I waited because I couldn’t take how long my hair had gotten for one more day! When it was my turn I explained that I wanted 4 inches cut off and long layers put in. Not super hard. Ashley was great, she showed me on her comb how much 4 inches would be to make sure I was okay with the length & I actually decided to have her take off 5 instead. I really like that she did that. She did a great job cutting it, made me laugh and was very helpful when I asked her advice on products. The wait sucked, but I didn’t have an appointment either. However for the amount of walk ins they get there, they really should have more Stylists working! There were people that waited over an hour! My hair looks great though!

I have gotten my hair cut here multiple times, and I could offer a different review for each one. The skills of the employees here are very distinct and different leveled; there were times where one hairdresser has butchered my hair, other times where they did a great job. For the most part though, the results were satisfactory.

Ashley did my hair and it did not even come close to anything that I asked. When I left she told me that I would need to get a deep conditioning treatment done because my hair was a little fried. It was nothing at all what I asked for and I was devastated. When I called back, she was very unapologetic and said “well you left with it like that.” (mind you it was closing time for them). I called again the next day to speak with the manager Tiffany, who is a saint. She fixed my hair for free and tried to make it up to me. She was very kind and did a great job. If I were to return…I would definitely go to Tiffany. Giving 4 stars for the fact that Tiffany went above and beyond to make sure I was happy!

Tiffany is THE BEST! Highly experienced, personable, and sweet as pie. I struggle to find a good stylist, usually getting a hit and miss (mostly miss) when it comes to a good haircut. However, Tiffany is clearly one that knows the “sweet spot” when it comes to not too short and not too long. She is high in demand so I suggest making an appointment if you want her to cut your hair.
