My son needed a haircut before school started and he didn’t want an at home buzz cut. I called around to a few places, but no one had any openings. Called Grif’s and was informed that they only do walk ins. We arrived and there was a gentleman already in the seat, but no one waiting. So we sat down and waited. Didn’t take long before my son was in the chair. She asked him what he wanted and after she explained what a taper was, that’s what he decided on. Didn’t take long for her to finish. While she was cutting, we were talking and laughing. Then 2 other patrons came in and we enjoyed their conversation too. It was a very pleasant atmosphere and I will be taking my son back to them again!

A horrifying experience. I called to ask if they do flat tops, and the gal on the phone said “yes!” . The place was ratty, with torn up chairs, in a bad area of town. I should have walked out. But the gal tried to cut my hair, but it in an uneven slope, and told me I should have gone without my c-pap the night before so that the cut wasn’t so hard on her. I told her she needed to fix it or give me my money back. she told me she couldn’t do any more. She argued with me some more, made me wait thru her next cut, then finally handed me money and said “bye.” I found a salon down the road where the gal fixed my hair in 5 minutes. Don’t ever risk your hair or safety by going to Griff’s.

The older lady was rude and didn’t listen to how to cut my child’s hair. She blatantly said boys don’t have long hair and cut my son’s curls off, he is only a toddler and they never grew back. Won’t ever go back again after 12 years with my oldest son going their even. Won’t recommend to anyone.
