Disability-friendly & wonderful service! I’ve had multiple severe back injuries and the float tanks here always significantly helped & healed me 🙂 What I love most is how disability-friendly this space and the services are: there are two float tanks which are large rooms, with the tanks only a few inches off the ground, making them easy in/easy out. The folx who run this place are exceptionally kind and want you to have the best possible experience. Thanks for everything you do, Grey Matter!

Grey Matter spa is superior. I have tried 2 float spas in Abq. They are decent; with a friendly, gym like atmosphere. Grey Matter is on a different level. I took a couple friends and have given many gift cards. When you find something this SPECIAL you want to share.

Had my 1st couples floating session and in the begging it was hard to relax my body but then I was able to and went into this relaxing mode that it’s hard to explain kind of like a sleep feeling but very unique. Ray Ray was very welcoming, thanks for the great experience Grey Matter, we will be back.

My last visit there was very disappointing. The female employee told me prior to entering the sauna that they were having problems with the sauna maintaining temperature. Sure enough, I sat in there for 25 minutes and did not even break a sweat. When I exited the sauna, I informed the employee that the temperature is not maintaining and the session was a waste of time. She apologized, but I was shocked several hours later, when I saw that I was still billed for the session! When I sent an email communicating that I should not be billed for an infrared therapy that was of no benefit, no one even responded. I won’t be going back.

As a gift for my first mother’s day this year, my partner got me a gift certificate for my first float and I am hooked! I have a steady meditation practice but floating takes it to a whole new level. I had a lovely chat with Patrick at the front desk after and the whole experience was incredibly therapeutic and enlightening. I have a sauna gift certificate to use next, and will buy more float passes to this amazing space.

My experiences at Grey Matter Float were exceptional. The spa space is geared toward promoting wellness and relaxation. The tea selection was on point and really complimented the flotation therapy experience. I also found the IR Sauna a great compliment and would recommend the Infrared Sauna sessions Grey Matter offers. I purchased a membership and will be making Grey Matter Float a weekly experience incorporating both IR Sauna and Flotation Therapy into my existing fitness and therapy regiment. I believe that deprivation therapy adds so much value to my life and enthusiastically recommend Grey Matter for IR Sauna and Deprivation/Float Therapy.

Unbelievable. This was such a memorable experience. I did both the sauna and the float spa and was blown away by both of them. It was my first float, but it certainly won’t be my last. Wonderful environment, wonderful staff, wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommend it. Not just a one time experience either. This should be routine maintenance for mind, body, and soul.
