While the staff was friendly, I had to go home with toner in my hair and wash it out myself. I decided to trust the process and washed the toner out then I was left with a very bad mismatched hair. Pearl was very knowledgeable about curly hair and I definitely learned from her. That being said, I had asked to keep length where possible, (I definitely needed some cut being dry), add some volume and be able to wear it loose curls done by curling iron or normal curly. In the end I have some layers that are 7” shorter than what I came in with (they were chest length and are now chin length ). My layers have a lot of difference and look choppy with often a 4” gap from layer to layer. I’ve been having to do small cuts to even out sides that are uneven 2” difference. Sadly it’ll take several months or a couple years to get some of these layers longer to mesh better. I share this as hopefully it helps people potentially express better what they need or to help get more clarity before hair is cut that will take a couple years to grow back.
