I accidentally came on Wednesday and was told my apt was Thursday. Which was fine.. I showed the girl at the desk a picture of what I wanted and she said they can absolutely do that at my 4pm apt Thursday (the next day) I arrived tonight (Thursday) I sat in the chair, showed a picture of what I was looking for and told they couldn’t do my hair… it would take 5 hours. I said to forget the picture, is there anything else they can do for me and was literally told no! Then was rescheduled for 2 weeks. I drove all the way there rushing after work to be told “no”

It was the worst blowout I ever had in my life. In the end the stylist had to use the flat iron because she didn’t pull the roots properly while blow drying it. I was left with frizzy hair and some sad curls that she tried to do with the curling iron. Very amateur service. Waste of money and time, worst then if I have done it myself.

I love going to my hair appointments with Amanda! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. The girls are always furthering their education and learning new techniques. Amanda gets it right every time. The other day I went to the salon for the first time since COVID. I was completely impressed with the process and cleanliness of Green With Envy. While I see Amanda at the Rockland location I am sure that all of their locations are doing the same things. You arrive and they notify you via phone when they are ready. You stop at the door which is locked. You are not allowed in until you confirm you do not have any of the signs and symptoms posted on the door. You also have to wear a mask for everyone’s safety. There were cleaners and hand sanitizer all over the place and they were diligently cleaning between each customer. I missed having my hair dried but more so for Amanda. I wanted her to see the color she did on my hair, so I texted her pictures later after it dried. If you are having reservations I hope this helps. I felt completely comfortable and knew they had our safety as their number one priority! Thanks GWE!

I made an appt. with Amanda just randomly about a year ago and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now! She gets it right every time! She listens to what I want but she also has great ideas and advice. I often ask her “what do you think” or tell her to do it the way she thinks would be best because she’s the expert at it and I love it every time! She doesn’t rush through just to get to her next client and I feel like I’ve made a friend in my hair dresser!
