Shona and Paige are absolutely amazing! I couldn’t ask for a better Provider and Nurse! You can’t find a better derm provider and nurse combo than these two. Highly highly recommend!! I just have to brag on Paige. Paige is an amazing nurse. She has gone above and beyond for me on numerous occasions. She is definitely an asset to your team. What ever you all do don’t lose her, you will definitely regret it if you do! I can’t recommend Shona enough as a provider. She is absolutely amazing! Her bedside manner is top notch! She always takes time to explain everything to you and always listen to your concerns. This duo is the best of the best!

Sadly, had an appointment today but they didn’t apparently didn’t open the office due to weather or they are delayed. Who knows? They did not change the message on the answering service. The website is not updated with any information. It is not on any of the local television stations. They did not email. They did not text. I saw several other people come and go while I was sitting in the parking lot waiting. It is utterly rude and unacceptable to not at least update your answering machine message and your website if you’re not going to text, call , or email people.

We have been going to this practice for a number of years, and we are consistently treated by caring and highly skilled professionals ( from the receptionist checking us in, to all the assistants and our nurse practitioner, and ending with the check out clerks). We are very pleased with this practice.

DO NOT!! Go to Shona for anything . Not very knowledgeable when it comes to anything medical more of a cosmetic PA. Will do biopsy’s for no reason, because of her lack of knowledge on conditions of the skin. Also, dont think the coders can code correctly. I have a copy for specialist for $50 office visit and charged almost $300. Stay away I would say.

I am a relatively new patient at Greater Knoxville Dermatology. So far I have found it to be the most efficiently run doctor’s office I have ever seen. From the minute you walk in the door, until you check out, you are treated with friendly smiles and efficient staff. There is little to no wait time , which is very unusual for a doctor’s office.Jamie Roberts is the PA that I have been seeing and she is the best! She is professional and knowledgeable. She takes time with me and listens to all of my concerns. She answers all of my questions and makes sure I understand my treatment options. She has assisted me with getting pharmacy services as well so that I can get the medication I need. Her plan of treatment for me has been extremely successful and I am so grateful that I found this practice. Her plan of treatment for me has changed my life.I had a poor experience with another group and let that keep me from getting the care I needed. I am so happy that I finally took a leap of faith with this group. I highly recommend this practice and Jamie Roberts! I can’t say enough nice things about both the practice and Jamie!

My husband and I absolutely love this group. From the front desk to check out they are friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. Both Nurse’s that took care of us were named Kelsey & did fantastic jobs.

I’m using my husbands google acct. because I really want to give Jamie a 5 star and give a review. The office staff is so friendly and helpful. I see Jamie and she is so patient with me and makes me feel so comfortable, she did a bx. On my eyebrow and it healed up perfect. She has frozen several spots for me also. I have recommended her to several friends. I’m so happy I found her!

This was my first time ever at a dermatology office. I came for my acne. I spent more time with the medical assistant than I did the actual dr. I hear her tell the dr everything that was going on with me as she is walking in my room for the first time. By the time the dr. Walked in from the time I left wasn’t even 5 min. She didn’t ask me any other questions about what was going on. Hardly even looked at my acne or scars. Left feeling the exact same I did coming in with zero hope of her helping my skin get better. Would absolutely not recommend.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Greater Knoxville Dermatology! I see Jamie Roberts, PA-C and she is the most thorough provider I have ever been to. She takes the time to discuss in detail all the treatment options & care I need to be taking with my skin. She is wonderful! The rest of the staff are very friendly & courteous. I would definitely recommend this group to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

I had a benign cyst excised by Dr. Barron. I had it examined while I was living in another city, but I did not have it removed because it was not malignant. I decided to have it removed after moving to Knoxville, but GKD would not accept a referral from an outside practice and required an examination from one of their nurses. The nurse looked at it for 1-2 minutes, confirmed the previous diagnosis, and said that I could have it excised then instead of making a new appointment since the surgeon was in. During the operation, Dr. Barron made a couple of sarcastic political comments that I found to be in bad taste and some condescending remarks about my education. Oh well, at least the operation went well and I was left with minimal scarring.
