Check in through the app because the person taking my info seemed irritated by having to put my info in the system. Spelled my name wrong after I told them how it was spelled. I understand that they were busy and they still had a person in the chair but a smile goes a long way. My hair stylist was fantastic she was engaging and made sure I knew what I wanted for my haircut.

I sat and waited while an older lady gave my boyfriend a haircut. He stated that he wanted a #2 on the sides faded all the way to the top of his head which would be longer. The lady gave him a bowl cut at first. Straight up short on the sides and long on top all at one height. She asked him if that was good. He said no and stated how he wanted it. She said that he needed to hurry up and make up his mind because she was tired. At the end of the haircut it was definitely not good. Many parts of his hair were chopped up bluntly and not blended nicely. Not only did he receive a less than unsatisfactory haircut, but the lady was rude. Don’t work at a place that cuts people hair if you don’t want to listen to what your customer wants. You work FOR your customer. That’s why you get paid.

Not worried about professionalism, more so about my previous haircut. I asked the hairdresser to leave the length of my hair PAST my shoulders. She began the haircut and by the time she asked me what I thought so far, my hair was shorter than I asked. I would have said that it was too short, but at that point, what was the hairdresser going to do? Magically grow out my hair to where I wanted it? I just had the absolutely best experience EVER at this location. It was super busy and towards the end of their day but both ladies were absolutely upbeat and awesome. Charlie did a fantastic job on my hair. She did exactly what I asked and wanted which is a first from some of the other visits I have had at other locations.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityMy wife had taken our son here twice. The first time went well and the stylist was professional. This review is not based upon that. Unfortunately the the second time the (different) stylist was clearly “rushing” through the haircut and did a very poor job. My wife chalked it up to lesson learned and didn’t make a big deal about it. Most recently she took him in and requested the first stylist. They said it could be an hour or longer wait. My wife said that was fine. They sat there directly in front of the store for over TWO HOURS. She noticed that my son’s name was showing #1 on the waitlist but all of a sudden disappeared. My wife saw the stylist packing up her things so she went in to find out what was going on. The “young lady” that was up front said that they supposedly called my wife’s phone and no one answered. Mind you as I stated before they were sitting directly in front and could see everything. My wife showed her that there was no missed call. Obviously someone wasn’t being honest. The “young lady” basically said the stylist was off duty and they would have to go with someone else (this after already waiting over two hours for a particular stylist). After what happened last time, no thanks! The “young lady” then offered a rather sarcastic apology as my wife and son walked out. Never again Not so Great Clips. Never.
