Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI could’ve given myself a better haircut wielding a beard trimmer in my non-dominant hand. Can’t follow simple instructions. I asked for a neck trim and to clean up around my ears and my sideburns, and asked not to take any additional length off the sides and top. She cut one side of my hair nearly an inch and a half shorter than the other (on the top, no less), chopped my sideburns higher than I asked (and didn’t blend them whatsoever), and took the liberty of taking out significantly more on the sides than a simple “clean up around the ears”. Not to mention, she didn’t make any effort to blend the sides after she mauled them, so my hair looks like I let a toddler go crazy with scissors on the side of my head. I question that these people are even licensed. The first thing I did when I got home was book an appointment with a real barber shop. I was growing out my hair, but after today I’m going to have to take more than an inch off pretty much everywhere. Great clips has a reputation for mediocrity, but this went far beyond just a bad haircut. I thought someone with training would be able to manage a simple neck trim and clean up, but I guess that’s too much to expect from this location. I wouldn’t get a haircut here again if they payed me to do so.
