Gave great clips another try and they are horrible! Last year in texas for Veterans Day free haircut they messed it up… today here same thing… fade was horrible and uneven … afterwards I had to run to my barber at Old ye barber in downtown Ferndale and they fixed it! No more great clips… more like “crap clips” I rather pay $40 for a haircut that lasts for weeks and make me look good than a messed up hair dude due to them. Save your money and go to the higher end haircut places that are not amateurs

Should be called awful clips. I had Kalani and she barely glanced at the reference photo before attacking my head with a buzzer. She took off 3 extra inches than what I asked for and this is the worst haircut of my life. I’m just glad the weather is getting cold so I can wear hats to cover up this horrendous “hair cut”. I would pay money to NOT look like this. You’re better off cutting your own hair with kitchen scissors. Save your dignity and your money.

I want to start this with I love Dawn, Dawn is a gem. She has given me some of my best haircuts I’ve ever had. But this last time I went in to have my hair done, it was done by Jenny and my hair is botched. I showed her multiple pictures, a video and walked her through step by step of exactly what I wanted and she either didn’t listen to me or didn’t know what she was doing. She cut my hair an extra 4 inches when I said no more than 1 inch off and when she shaved the sides I said no shorter than a 2 and she shaved it down to a 1. My hair is jacked. I literally had to go out and buy a wig and some wraps just to cover my hair until it grows out enough to even attempt to do anything with it. It’s patchy, it’s lopsided, and she thinned it out when my hair is already so thin. As soon as I got in my car I cried for about 15 minutes about how botched my hair was. I’ve never felt so ignored and taken advantage of from a haircut before. These next few weeks of grow out are probably going to be some of the longest and most insecure weeks I’ve felt. I’ve never had a worse experience and to make it worse, this feeling is going to linger until my hair grows out.

I was in for a simple fade cut 2 weeks ago. Between the stylist answering phones and greeting walk-in, she managed to absolutely butcher my cut. They say the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is a couple weeks. Nope. There is not a single hair on my head that is the same length as the others, including the top of my head where I have long hair on one side of my part and then short and spikey on the other. I will never go here again and would not recommend it.

I’ve always got a good cut here. The staff is friendly and attentive to my needs as I have about 4 cowlicks on my head. I suggest checking in on their website before you go. Their usually pretty busy.

A young woman gave me a great hair cut. She was very knowledable and did a great job answering my questions. There was another employee there (it was her las day) that was very loud and boistrous. She did not stop talking the entire time that I was there. She was flitting about talking loudly about her poersonal life and cuttiong little hair. Perhaps she was acting this way because it was her last day, but made the atmosphere far from relaxing or professional.
