Ive been in this store many many times.The owner penny herself and the manager Debbie are selfish, money hungry, heartless people. They let employees go for no reason. They don’t pay on time. They do a horrible job on haircuts. They do not follow cooperate rules and regulations. This location should not be open. No manager in the store. Stylists get high on the job. Watch out. They also do not always sanitize correctly. Haven’t mopped in atleast a year. I’ve seen the discolored floors and it was mind blowing. Half the time it’s not open so if you do go call before.

This location is finally under new management (I think for a few weeks now) and seems to be keeping consistent hours and stylists. A young man named Anders (?) cut my hair and he did a great job. He was very nice and listened to what I wanted before starting. He also stopped a few times while cutting to make sure I liked what he was doing. I really appreciated this as many times at other places it’s gone before I know it and not at all what I wanted.

Sitting at the fred meyers next door, cell service isn’t letting me check in online. I call to see if I can check in over the phone. They won’t let me. I have a bad hip and they want me to get my walker and walk over to check in. Geez. The picture shows how close I was.

I enjoy going to this location because it’s the only one so far that I’ve had a good experience with, and it is also consistently good. The hours are the reason for my 2 star rating. I only have Sunday and Monday off. They consistently change their hours and choose to be closed whenever they feel like it. As a professional business, this is very unprofessional. I have drove here on 5+ occasions from Estacada just to get there and they are closed, after looking at their hours online. The inconsistency of their open hours is very poor and I’m sorry to anyone else that has experienced this also. Sometimes they are open on the weekends and Monday and other times they are not. Extremely frustrating

Critical: ProfessionalismI take my entire family to the Sandy location . I have always had a great experience until tonight. I check in online when I got there with my two boys I was told they weren’t taking anyone. I explaimd I just drove from Estacada just to get my hair and my boys hair cuts before Christmas the app said ready in 56 minutes to check in. I was 3 minutes after the 15 minute come on in text. They did wind up cutting my two boys hair also agreed to do mine. I was thankful until I got lied to by the dark long haired lady with thee straight across bangs oin the front right starion/chair. She calls me over to say my son had a bug bite or something behind his right ear. It was clearly a fresh cut his skin was gone on a small part of his ear and bleeding. My son told me after ward she did do it but he was scared to say anything when she was lying to me. Ge knew it was not a bug bite. She rushed his haircut telling me never to come in qt the end of the day his hair was very uneven. Then she asks if I’m doing my hair cut. I declined and decided to wait because of the poor job she did and causing an injury to my 7 yr old! Then LY8NG I would know if my kid had a bug bit yet alone a bleeding gash on his ear! I am highly dissapointed and assure you that lady will never touch one of my kids again. The blond short haired tattooed girl in the second chair 9n the right did a great job. I know they wanted to go home but the dark haired lady was so unprofessional amd in my opinion shouldn’t be allowed to treat ANYONE the way she did my kids and myself. I really wish I got her name. I went with my friend and got a trim and my friend got their hair fixed after another location had messed it up. The lady who did our hair was so nice (I belive we saw Karina?) She was friendly and was able to give me a nice hair cut and fix my friends hair. We both left with big smiles I’ve been going to this Great Clips since I was about 13, now at 25 I still enjoy going there.

Although the cut was nicely done it wasn’t what I wanted. So went back, and was referred to Yessy… needless to say I was 100% happy . She listened to my crazy description of what I wanted as well as took time to look at some pictures.. verified with me through the whole process to make sure she got the look I was going for.. and nailed it. Not super happy with the haircut that my son got. The staff was friendly but didn’t seem to understand what I was asking for and didn’t quite get what we were looking for in a cut. This is our second time there and both times we were less than satisfied with our cut probably will not be returning.
