We have taken our special needs child here twice even though we have other branches that are closer to us. Somehow, they just seem more patient and understanding of sensory issues at this location. So we went there for the second time today for kid’s haircut and the experience was great again. We have usually gone Sunday afternoons and there has been 0 min wait with online checkin. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI happened to get haircut from the same professional at this place twice in a row and it is a bad experience both the times. Before starting the 2nd time I showed him how a part of the hair sticks out from his last hair cut and I think that offended him. He started with a very tight neck grip of cloth (which is a first in my life that someone did that). I had to immediately ask him to loosen it. I told him how I wanted the cut and when he thought he is done he asked me how it is. I told him more changes (more of fixes to be done). He did small cuts here and there and he kept asking if it is fine and I had to guide him to reduce the length of hair to what I needed.I know how it feels to hear that the job is not well done and someone asks to fix it. Since he is making the changes I mentioned that I appreciate his patience. His reply to that is “some people can’t decide what they want and they keep asking to reduce”. I simply laughed saying “I guess people like me”. We tried this location of Great Clips today for the first time and liked the place. It was our first visit to a hair cutting place since 1.5 years and it was a great experience. The stylist are nice and Sandy who cut my son’s hair knew the style he wanted and have a cut based on his preference. We would recommended this place.
