I have to brag about the stylist here, Hayley. My daughter has severe, non-verbal autism. We had spent a lot of time getting her used to Hayley’s old salon in Vacaville, but that shop closed, and we followed Hayley here because she is the only person who has ever cut my daughter’s hair. We do a lot of mental preparation in advance of haircuts, so my daughter knew what was coming, but when we pulled up to the “wrong” place, she started to freak out and was very emotional. Hayley even came over, and my daughter calmed down some when she saw Hayley but was refusing to get out of the waiting room chair. So, because she is amazing, she literally met her where she was and was willing to KNEEL on the hard floor to cut her hair. Just had to share how grateful I am for Hayley. This location is much closer to us, so I hope she is here forever, but we’ll probably follow Hayley wherever she goes.

The hairdresser who took care of daughters hair totally screwed up . I asked her to only trim 1/2 of an inch and round it in the back / following her prior hair trim. While cutting she trimmed it across straight and when I corrected her , communicating to round the hair she it took it upon her self to cut About 2 inches in total . I stopped the hairdresser and told her to put my daughter hair in a ponytail and she told me that she didn’t have girls.

This place used to have friendly people work there. Not so much anymore. The person who cut my har had the personality of a wet mop. Tried to make small talk and she snipped at me. Also when I asked her to spray my hair with water prior to cutting like what has been done for all the years I was coming there she got irritated and said she was giving me a dry cut. This left my hair cut uneven in areas. Won’t ever have her touch my hair again! If my family and I even choose to come back and try again. Place is going downhill. The correct people working is what makes an establishment as successful as it becomes.

I cried big tears yesterday. I live in napa and I called before I even came all the way to American canyon to see if they knew how to cut curly hair my girls are mixed. The lady on the phone said yes we can we all have had experience doing it. I booked online and came to the salon from napa. I walked in and the lady’s all looked at me asking me if I have brushed my kids hair. My oldest daughter goes into the seat and the lady the whole time complained about brushing her hair right infront of My daughter. I even helped her brush her hair basically saying she doesn’t get paid to do this. Ugh then the hair cut my daughters hair was so messed up I cried in the parking lot the lady new she didn’t know what she was doing because she kept saying sorry to me over and over again. I would of respected her more if she would of just said she didn’t know how to do it instead of ruining my daughters beautiful hair I’m so upset. Never again!! I have no luck with great clips even for my hair.

Signed online, got right in, and as soon as I walked in was greeted. Got right in as was on the online sign in and Erica was great! Asked me about style, length, double checked then cut my hair to those specifications while also just being very positive and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.
