Every time I get my haircut here, the staff are upbeat and courteous. They’re very professional, and they provide an extremely high quality haircut, in a clean and pleasant environment. They recently changed their operating hours to end at 6pm. I showed up at 5:57 (I hadn’t known about the change in hours). I went to open the door to find it locked. Then the two stylists inside looked my direction and instead of opening the door and cutting my hair, or even speaking to me like a human being, they ignored me and avoided eye contact. Very frustrating and infantile behavior. 10/10 would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

As the saying goes, at this location, you get what you pay for. The haircuts are average. They don’t always get it right, but you can live with the haircut. Only come here if you don’t want to travel far away from Alpine or Highland. I have had them destroy at least 4 basic haircuts of mine. They don’t always fade the hair right, and sometimes they leave a bunch of long hairs. In other words, they don’t always take the time to make sure everything looks really clean.

I take my boys here to get their hair cut. We always make an appointment via the app and as a result we are in and out quickly. Everyone is very friendly. I love that they note how they cute their hair so I don’t have to tell the stylist everything we go in.

Miranda was so great! She cut my 4 yr old sons hair perfect! My only issue was the older lady who checked me in was not very nice. We came in at our scheduled appointment time and she rudely said their was 4 people ahead of us and that it would be awhile before we could get in. I replied with ‘that would have been nice to know. My 4 yr old son can’t wait that long. That’s why we scheduled an appointment’. She continued to be rude and said if I want something fixed then I need to talk to corporate. Not great customer service from her, however Miranda was amazing to work with!

Critical: ProfessionalismI have been to many Great Clips locations for myself and for my children and have always had great experiences. Sadly this was not one of them. I was refused service for my daughter after waiting 45 minutes in the queue online because they were close to closing. When we got there the person who checked us in didn’t say anything about restricted services after certain hours. My first clue should have been the lack of a warm greeting when we arrived. The whole environment felt very cold and unfriendly. My daughter’s night was ruined because she was looking forward to getting a haircut and a conditioning treatment. When somebody called me(she failed to introduce herself) to apologize I asked what the policy was and she said there is no written policy anywhere. She proceeded to tell me reasons why this whole experience was my fault. In short my whole experience with this location was terrible. I always make an appointment for a haircut. I arrive have a short wait get my haircut then when I need my haircut again I do the same thing. I never have to wait long and I can count on getting my hair cut the way I want it and I don’t get any surprises. I have been getting my hair cut by the same person and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Not only are the stylists great at what they do, but they are being especially conscious during this pandemic to ensure safety and health measures are maintained. Many businesses try to say they are being cautious, but then don’t follow through. I felt safe in the salon today and could tell it was a sacrifice for the staff to keep it up.
