I am SO impressed with my visit. I have extremely short, platinum hair that needed a tiny touch ups. Every detail shows. Michelle looked at it, pointed out what she thought needed to be done, asked for my thoughts and then went ahead – very cautiously – and took so little that I can’t even tell other than it looks SO good! I had a great haircut. My son’s was horrible – choppy, uneven, and a full inch shorter than requested. He was so upset but didn’t want to hurt the stylists feelings. He is dreading school tomorrow because he doesn’t like how he looks.

Kirsten, my son chase is 12 and he just had his first haircut from this salon. I’ve been cutting their hair. I thought it would be nice to get a professional haircut so he can feel good. He didn’t want to go but I made him. His hair was long going in and he likes his bangs and I just wanted them shorter and that he likes to swoop it to the side. Just a nice haircut. He came out with a buzz cut. His entire forehead visible. You used the clippers not scissors. I could have buzzed his hair for free. He’s in tears and devastated. I’m not sure what went wrong and how you got buzz it really short . His neck line isn’t even smooth.

I had to go to 2 different great clips here in Boise Id I specifically tell the lady how I want me hair so she gets scissor happy and cuts it too short on the sides can’t even barely get a one inch barrel around my hair so I am highly considering going somewhere else now it will be 3 months before it’s grown out but probably more like 4 months

Wasn’t good with well-behaved 3.5 yo child. Finally offered alternatives like wetting comb, instead of directly spraying head/face (child has sensory issues.) Same thing with using scissors vs clippers. Easily accepted, even smiled, as she used clippers, his preference. Started with a lecture though, “this is how I cut hair,”/cannot do it any other way except my way… showing inflexibility, lack of empathy, and a closed mind.
