I did the online check in, was told I’d have about a 116 minute wait- that was totally fine. I kept checking the wait time online, until it got done to about 90 minutes, when it kicked me out and wanted me to check in again. No worries, I signed up for the text reminder. That reminder never came. I tried checking the wait online, but it was coming up as “list full”, and wouldn’t let me check the times. I tried calling the salon, to see if I needed to reschedule, 6 different times- each rang out and went to voicemail. It’s not even about being busy, I get that. Truthfully, the complete absence of communication was the thing that got me. It’s okay to be busy- it’s not okay to work your employees to the point where you don’t have the staff to even answer the phone. I’m willing to bet it doesn’t even come down to the employees on the floor, but management and their apparent lack of help for their staff. Out of the 5 locations in Nampa, this one seems to have disproportionately long wait times, which says they are likely pretty short staffed. Disappointed, but not surprised for a company that together grossed over 1.3 billion dollars in 2021. To whichever franchise owner is in charge of this spot- do better.

Oh my goodness! They were so friendly and positive!! Super supportive and excited about what I wanted. Kayla was AMAZING!!! She did a phenomenal job with my haircut, which to be honest is a pretty unique cut lol. Very out of the ordinary. But she wasn’t intimidated and went right in and did just what I had envisioned!! I’ve been in town for 8 months now and usually have a haircut once a month and I go to whichever Great Clips has the lowest wait time. This time it took me to the one on 12th Avenue Rd. I had been here three times previously and even though I’ve had different stylists each time the result was the same, a fine cut, done fairly quickly and at a great price. And as always she checked my eyebrows to make sure that they were looking good. Obviously I’m going to keep coming back.
