Got a hair cut and beard trim. Not the worst IV ever had but the kid rushed it. Beard is uneven and cut in at an angle I dont like. But the haircuts not bad. I’m super upset I went for a hair trim wanted a 1/2” token off. Which I was in shock cause I was watching her take more off then I wanted. Then she grabs different scissors and starts going to town on my hair and I finally was able to start talking. I asked her what the scissors do. And her response was there thinning scissors. And I told her I’m starting to freak out I don’t know what you’re doing to me. the whole ordeal was super traumatizing really on me. I’m just sitting in the chair as she’s doing all of us trying to talk but I am in a state of shock. I went to Ulta and had to have them explain to me what thinning shears are and while I’m here at Ulta I start breaking down crying because of everything that happened. It’s wrong on so many levels I should’ve never happened to me without communicating with me. Our communications was to trim my hair. Not chop it or use thinning scissors.

I’ve spent outrageous amounts for really bad hair cuts in the last few years and at Great Clips I can count on them knowing what I want and then delivering a great cut! Price is great too! Critical: Professionalism, QualityAs I was waiting my turn, I was just observing the stylists at work. One in particular who was extremely loud, and spoke very rudely to customers left and right. I sat hoping to god she wouldn’t end up calling my name. Well, guess what…. she calls me back and then walks away… so I stood there for a second, confused. She came barreling back and shouted at me to sit down so she could cut my hair. Her name was Bri. I think. I was so nervous I could barely explain how I wanted my hair cut and she kept interrupting me because I didn’t know exactly how to explain everything and wasn’t doing it fast enough for her. I’m not a hair dresser. I don’t know the lingo. She even threatened to cut my hand if I didn’t stop touching my hair. We hadn’t even started the cut yet. She was so frustrated with me that she basically told me to either decide or leave. Not in those exact words, but her demeanor and tone of voice made me so uncomfortable I wanted to cry. So when I got quiet and stopped talking, she just started chopping away and gave me the worst haircut I’ve ever had. Not only did I leave there with my self esteem demolished, I will never EVER go back there. She was loud, rude, wouldn’t stop talking long enough for me to explain what i wanted and then said to me “are you going to let me talk now” I was so embarrassed I just sat there and let her destroy my hair.
