I had a phenomenal experience getting my hair styled at this Great Clips location and had the longest lasting curls of my life! This might be long but please take a momemt to hear my story: I was traveling from out of state to attend a wedding in the mountains and with the stress of planning extensive travel and lodging accommodations and packing for a destination wedding, I didn’t end up trying to find an appointment to have my hair styled until last minute and of course all of the highly-rated and high-end salons in the area were booked. I’ll be honest I was doing a walk-in at Great Clips as a last resort and didn’t know what to expect. After checking in I only had to wait a few minutes to be seated with a stylist. I hadn’t really picked out a style and my very straight, very fine hair has been notoriously hard to style because it has no body, no volume, and any curl always just falls out right away. I just asked for something curly for a formal event and gave her creative freedom to do whatever she thought would look best. When the stylist asked me first thing if my hair has a hard time holding curl, I knew she knew my struggle (I’ve never had curls last more than a couple hours). She said her daughter also had very straight hair and assured me that she had the products and techniques to help it hold the curl. After styling and spraying my hair, she left the curls in tight ringlets knowing they’d loosen a bit on my hour drive to the venue. Over the course of the day I received so many compliments on how great I looked. My hair style and curls held all day until I washed them out at 11:30 that night. I just want to reiterate that my curls lasted over 14 hours on a rainy, misty day through outdoor family photos, the reception dinner, and the afterparty! I really wish I had taken pictures of the side and back because this selfie doesn’t do it justice! I’m also kicking myself for not remembering the stylists name so I could give her a shout out here. All of this only cost me $20 before I added the tip! I would have spent 2 or 3 times as much at another salon and who knows if it would have turned out as nice or lasted as long (probably not). I’m seriously impressed!

I wish I could remember the name of the lady who cut my hair, but she was amazing! She recommended a leave-in conditioner for me, and so far it has done wonders for my hair! Leave-ins never work for me and are always too heavy, but this one is amazing. I will definitely come back here.
