Critical: ProfessionalismI walked in to the store as they had just opened at 9:00 am. There was one man with a little boy in front of me. The lady at the front desk finished checking the man and boy in, and she walked away from the desk without even acknowledging me. Then, before I could even say anything, another person walks in. She walks upfront again, gets their phone number, and checks her in. Just after checking the lady in, a man walks in and she checks him in. All while I’m standing at the desk with my son. I then asked, “Ma’am, could you help me? I have never been here before, and I’m not sure how this works. I was here before everyone in here except that man back there (while pointing to the first man), and I haven’t been checked in yet.” She said, “You have to check in online, but you can’t until 9:05.”, and then she starts to walk off. I said, “But, you wouldn’t know if I have checked in or not because you haven’t even talked to me?” I have worked in customer service, and I’m in the medical field now, so I am NOT one to complain or even speak up, but this was ridiculous. I’m a very patient person. After all that, I actually even waited until 9:05 and looked online at the check in, and it said 37 minutes. Of course it did! Two more people had walked in that time while I was waiting until 9:05 am, and they had both been acknowledged and checked in. We left and went to Sport Clips.
