I have had the worst luck at getting haircuts here. They continue to mess up my boy’s haircuts, and this last time was for picture day. I didn’t notice because of the way it was combed afterwards, and it was his bangs in the front, one side was WAY longer than all the rest!!! So the next morning he left for school and I just got the proofs to purchase the pictures and now I cant even get them!!! Completely unacceptable and I will never go back!! I’ve given them more business than they deserve!!!!!!!

I checked in online with my phone number and the website said that I had an 84min wait. No problem. I ate lunch and drove to Dripping Springs for my haircut. I arrived 24mins before the appt. and decided to go in and check in at the counter. The lady asked if I had checked in online. I said “yes” that my name was #5 on the waitlist. She asked for my full name and phone number. So I gave them to her. She said that “the system didn’t find you and so you’ll have to wait”. I said “But I signed in online with my name and phone number and the system put me on your waiting list”. She said “Well, it’s not finding you in the database so you’re going to have to wait “. Another barber saw that I was about to get mad and went ahead and called me back. However, he gave me the fastest and most painful haircut that I’ve ever had. I’m still hurting from the razor gouges. I bet he made less than 20 cuts with the scissors and did a little painful razor work and he was done in about a minute and a half! I won’t ever go back here! I pray that you read this and don’t go either. Very rude and a very painful haircut.

We always have a good experience at this Great clips. I’m always very happy with the haircuts every member of my family gets and the prices are very competitive. They are currently short staffed due to covid as most barber shops and salons are it is highly advisable to check in online before you go. The last time we went was on a Monday and we had a little over an hour wait but I checked in online and it told me how long it would be so I didn’t leave my house until they were almost ready for us.

The lady who answered the phone told me that if I’d read the website correctly, I’d know it’s first come first serve or I could check in online. She made me feel stupid. Well, maybe I am stupid. Pretty sad that with two employees cutting hair and one person waiting in the lobby, that the wait is 52 minutes. Checking in online does no good either. I was under the impression that the wait list goes on a first-come, first-serve basis. Apparently that is not the case at this location. Great clips has botched my haircut in the past but I have sought out different locations for different barbers, consistently to be disappointed. Your lack of customer service and skill has pushed a long-term patron to seek service elsewhere. Good riddance!
