I went today to get my haircut and my really really bad bangs fixed & a lady named Emily fixed it all up for me! She was really funny & nice. Made me feel comfortable & she let me know what she was doing. I definitely recommend her!!

I cannot lift up one of my arms to wash my hair, so we go into this location once a week to get it done. My daughter likes to be treated to having her hair washed while we are there. Months ago when my daughter and I went into this location to get our hair washed, a new lady was working. She was there alone. We explained that we were just there to get our hair washed. This lady went off on us! She was grabbing my daughter’s hair, SNATCHING it! She was saying how they don’t wash colored hair there because it ruins everything. ??!! I explained to her that we are not only regular customers, but personally knew several people who worked there and what she was saying was simply not true. She finally gave in, with great protest. If I hadn’t needed to get my hair done that day, we would have just left. This woman was being absolutely OBNOXIOUS! As she’s washing my hair, she starts snatching my hair as well. I can see her making faces at my hair. Both my daughter and myself have psoriasis, so I assume that’s what she’s looking at. I say to her, as I explained, I have psoriasis. Is that what you’re looking at? She starts making weird grumbling noises. I’m confused as to what she’s doing. It finally clicks in my head…Do you think I have lice?! Her response? “Well, I don’t know what lice looks like!” WTH?!!! How can you be a hairdresser and not know what lice looks like?!! She finishes washing my hair and continues to be rude the entire time. My daughter was so embarrassed by the way she was treated and so upset that this lady had been painfully yanking her hair, that she actually had a panic attack!!! I called and talked to the manager the next day. The manager was livid! She has been doing our hair for years, and we weren’t the only ones that had complained about this obnoxious woman. She got fired. Even the other stylists were glad she was gone because she was horrible to them as well. Flash forward to last week…THEY HIRED HER BACK!!! The manager left the location, and they’re so desperate for stylists that they brought her back. She was just as obnoxious this time as before. Way to go Great Clips.

I entered the Palestine location, checked in requested a shampoo, conditioner, cut and style with products as it was my birthday and wanted to step it up a notch. I explained I wasn’t in a hurry. The only licensed hairdresser present, ( as there were two of them) very rudely exclaimed she didn’t have the time. Since she was the only one there. Wow! Just wow….

In too big of a rush. Didn’t pay attention.and doesn’t listen. I got my hair cut which is a little un even. If she would have payed attention she would notice it. I don’t style hair but can use my eyes and see uneven.. then I get a beard trim and she rushes threw that I have an un even mustache and chin. Then keeps asking me if it’s ok. Use your eyes it’s not ok I just left I can fix my own beard cheaper and better at the house.i definitely don’t feel clean cut.. it’s the worst experience I’ve had there next time I’ll wait for my primary hair stylist to come In. Then charged me 25 bucks. Idk how you can just let someone leave your booth.. needs more experience before teaching someone else to cut hair shouldn’t need a line up tool. Free hand and TAKE YOUR TIME

Nancy gave me the best haircut that I’ve had in years. I would compare my haircut to the expensive haircuts the I got at a stylist in Dallas fort many years. I’ll certainly make her my regular hair stylist. Great job.
