No wait time on a Friday evening. You can check in online if you want. Leslie did a great job with our toddler boy (22months). This was his second haircut ever and he was scared at first but stay say still, very happy to get a lollipop at the end. She did a great job with the fade we asked for, was great with kids and worked fast. We got her information and hope to use her again for him in the future. Only $15 for the kids cut!

After being turned away from another Great Clips location, the stylists at the Sachse location were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive to the accommodations required for my special needs child and provided a great looking haircut. Although a bit further for me to drive, this location will likely be my salon of choice going forward.

Decent place to get a pretty good cut quickly and for pretty cheap. The service isn’t great though. I have 2 young boys – 4 and 7 – and both ladies who cut their hair today were visibly annoyed with them. The kids didn’t sit perfectly still but they were pretty good for young kids. But I could tell stylists were annoyed. I tried to ignore it. One of the cuts was really good. The other was okay. I asked stylist if the okay cut if she could blend a little more and cut the top a little shorter and she snapped at me that she wasn’t done. She was not pleasant but I chose to just ignore it. I will let my husband take the kids next time or possibly try another location.

I literally would give zero stars if I could. The girl working on 8/2/2022 at around 2pm told me she could fit my daughter in but instead of the normal $15 kids haircut, it would be $50 because of a part of it being knotted. She calls my daughter back to her chair, and then tells me it would be way more than $50 if she can even get the knot out, because she’s “not qualified” and didn’t “have the tools for it”. Then ultimately decided she wasn’t a specialist which is who I’d really need to see otherwise she was “going to buzz my 5 year old daughters hair because the knot was too close to her scalp and she didn’t even want to touch it”. Basically she just came across as the rudest, most unhelpful and incompetent person I’ve ever met in a customer service position and even she herself admitted that she’s not qualified … to untangle a knot… so I told her then I don’t want her near my kids head with scissors if she’s not qualified… So upon my exit, I’m visibly upset which caused my infant son to start fussing and then this employee and her little friend/ coworker were trash talking me, my mom & both my kids on my way out. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a rabid dog, let alone anyone that care about their hair or haircut experience. I’ve never been to a great clips before this and can promise I will never return to another one again after this embarrassing and unnecessarily unpleasant experience.

I had a really great experience this morning with stylist Aaron L. It seems like lately when I go in somewhere to get a haircut the person just zips right through my hair gets it done quick. Oh my god. I went here a couple times and it was really good. Today there were some other ladies a haven’t seen before. The first one that gave me haircut was fine, we just misunderstood, so I came back after 5 minutes to get a little fix up. Since the lady was busy another one put me on a chair. She was really unpleasant. And since a picture speaks a thousand words, let me just show you what I ended up with. I had to go to another location (Firewheel) to get it fixed. The girls were laughing when they saw my haircut. They said they thought I was cutting my hair myself. One thing is sure. I’m not coming here again.
