Obviously I didn’t go to great clips expecting a salon quality hair cut. That being said I certainly expected to be in the seat for more in 5 minutes and 15 seconds. I also expected the clippers to be sharp and not pull my hair. I also expected the hard part line to be straight and the trim over my ears to be somewhat symmetrical. Epic fail to all of the above.

Saturday March 12, 2022 I went in to get a trim on my A-Line bob. I used to App to put myself on the waiting list. Went in and Shelby was my ‘stylist’ I noticed she seemed very off… also I’ve gotten this haircut for YEARS now so I kind of know what to expect and she just was grabbing random pieces in the back and chopping away. Went to take off the cape and she hadn’t even TOUCHED the front part of my hair. So I asked her to do that and when I was leaving she never handed me a physical receipt. When I left I knew it was messed up I could just tell by running my hand over where she had ‘chopped’. So after contemplating. I called another location on 33rd and Boulevard and talked to Stephanie and she called the location I had went too and said it never showed record of me even coming in. said the last time I was there was March 24, 2020. I went ahead and went to the location on 33rd and Stephanie said she had not done what I asked. There was no blending done, the back part was as long as the front with shorter lengths in the middle (like a wave) and hadn’t cleaned up my neckline at all. Also said that they’ve heard Shelby doesn’t give customers a physical receipt when she knows she will be getting a complaint. if you go to this location ask for KIM do NOT let SHELBY anywhere NEAR your hair!!!!! If you go to the 33rd location ask for Stephanie !!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI came here after the long quarantine. I typically get a shorter cut and it was completely grown out. Once I was seated and told the hairdresser what I wanted she led me to another stylist that she felt could do it best. I truly appreciate that you know what you are good at and what others are good at as well. I left today feeling fresh and ready to head back to work with my new cut. I highly recommend Erika. I came here after the long quarantine. I typically get a shorter cut and it was completely grown out. Once I was seated and told the hairdresser what I wanted she led me to another stylist that she felt could do it best. I truly appreciate that you know what you are good at and what others are good at as well. I left today feeling fresh and ready to head back to work with my new cut. I highly recommend Erika. Critical: QualityI am extremely disappointed! :(I went in to get a thinning and a tad bit of layering…. The assistant manager butchered my hair. She said she would give me a cut that would help take the bulk out of my hair and it’s chopped terribly. This location is GREAT! Have never had a stylist that didn’t do a good job and have a good personality. I’m a guy. my hair is simple, but people still mess don’t know what they are doing, but never experienced that here! They have been doing a good job with the pandemic the couple times I’ve come in since places reopened. They had a system from the git-go to comply with the CDC and not have it be a cluster, plus their software is great, if you call and ask about wait times they are close to what online says, at least that’s been my experience. Definitely recommend to anyone. (we are in a pandemic, so if its noon or 530, etc. when there are likely to be more people checked in online, etc. things may be slow, but even the mail has been slow, so always keep that in mind ) Anyway, my experiences have been great as others I know. Keep up being a great location! Thanks!
