Great Clips

Critical: QualityGood morning,Stylist to stylist, when a customer comes into the salon, sits in your chair, and lays their entire hair cut out for you. Would you mind taking a moment to consider how this person wants their hair? Think whatever style you give this client; they’re stuck with it for a while, so when they come to you and tell you how to cut it, now is not the time to create your own desired look on this person. They could be self-conscious about their look, and you could destroy the way they feel in just five short mins. At approximately 5 pm, I came to the great clips on North Rock Rd, waited maybe 10 minutes, and sat in the stylist’s chair; she did a thorough consultation. What I didn’t appreciate was her not listening to how I asked to have my hair cut. I asked for one and half-cut, with point-cut layers, to give it some texture. She created her guide at the bottom of my ear. Then she took a razor a kept chopping. Previously, in her consultation, I have stated I was trying to grow my hair out and needed to clean up the ends and freshen the layers. But instead, I got what I call the “stylist creation,” not what I wanted. I am a hairstylist myself and have been practicing since 2015, I have only had this happen to me one other time, but this time was worse. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMy hair is super dry and curly and I’ve been doing it on my own. I needed somewhere to go before I lost my mind and my stylist named Maddie was amazing!! She took good care of my curly hair, got rid of like 99% of my dead ends (which if you know about curly hair isn’t easy) and straightened my hair ❤️ She definitely did amazing and would recommend her!Services: Haircut, Curly hairMy hair is super dry and curly and I’ve been doing it on my own. My hair is super dry and curly and I’ve been doing it on my own. I needed somewhere to go before I lost my mind and my stylist named Maddie was amazing!! She took good care of my curly hair, got rid of like 99% of my dead ends (which if you know about curly hair isn’t easy) and straightened my hair ❤️ She definitely did amazing and would recommend her!
