I have been going here for 8 years or so. Most of my experiences have been very good. Unfortunately, last time there, I drew a bad hairstylist. She is the one who has plain tattoos on both of her forearms. She hasn’t been there very long. She rushed through my haircut, though no one was waiting. She reeks of cigarette smoke. My phone rang while she started the haircut and I shifted a bit to silence the phone. She aggressively shifted my head back to the straight position. I again shifted and silenced my phone. She then rolled her eyes and stared in another direction while I “inconvenienced her”. The whole affair took about two seconds. The strange and upset staring in another direction lasted for about 5 seconds. Weird. Later in the haircut, she was again aggressively shifting my head towards the ceiling. I shifted to look straight ahead a couple of times. I told her I didn’t want the hair to fall in my eyes. She replied “Well then my back will hurt”. Not kidding! I asked for my sideburns trimmed at the bottom and she just didn’t do it. When complete, she didn’t hand me a mirror at the end of the haircut to take a look at the entire haircut. She again awkwardly stared in another direction while I brushed all the hair off of me (she didn’t blow dry the hair off, though pretended to for about 1 second). At this point, I though maybe she was just ignorant of customer service and with the job market not being good, Great Clips just hired her because she had a cosmetology license and was a body to fill a position. I figured I would just request not to have her cut my hair next time. I then asked if she had a towel. She responded “I can get you one if you ask me”. That’s when I realized that she does know she is being rude and treating customers horribly. I gave her a mixed look of displeasure and disbelief and then she finally grabbed me one. Unfortunately, I’ll have to find somewhere else to get my haircuts now, after 8 years. I’ll wait it out until she moves along, because lots of the other stylists that have been there for years are good at their job.

The hair cut looked fine itself, but what drew me to this review was the experience here. Came in for my usual hair cut in the notes and wound up getting a lady here with a distgusted attitude and was mostly silent with me. What bothers me is she was having a full on conversation with the customer she served ahead of me. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but I’ve never wanted to get a hair done with so fast before. Time for me to find a barber shop next cut I need.

I checked in online for my grandma to get her haircut here. When we got there apparently they were 10 minutes from closing and their manager told me they don’t accept anyone within the last 15 minutes. When I asked her why it would let let me check in when they’re going to be closing soon she stated that I must have checked in a really long time ago. I said it was only like 15 minutes ago. She was very rude and said that it was not on her that I was able to check in when they are closing soon.

I’ve been going to Great Clips for many years because for the most part they have great ppl there who actually know how to cut my hair. Plus the price is affordable for me since I am unemployed! I will continue to go to Great Clips providing they don’t close!! Haircut

That place is joke I took my son there for haircut he is only 4 years old the lady was so roode she wants me to leave my son in chair by his self and wait in waiting room he is kid he wants me to stand by him there rule is even kid u have to wait in waiting room what kind rule is that never ever heard we usly go different location they are remodeling so I think take him this location very bad experience we have to leave from there without haircut they needs to learn how to talk and customer service how to treat people never ever go there I wish give them 0 star

Yesterday we brought the little one in for a haircut. We needed him to look nice for a family wedding. The haircut was fine for the most part, but his hairline in the back was super crooked. From one side to the other, his hairline went up about an inch. That said, I understand that mistakes do happen and it would not have been a big deal had we been treated with a minimal degree of politeness when I brought him in to get it fixed today. When I was asked what we wanted to do to fix the haircut, I explained that I would like them to fade it in as low as possible. I was met with a the response “I just can’t promise anything.” I explained that we just wanted a low fade (pretty common) and she explained that because his head was small (being an 8 year old I guess?) she just couldn’t promise anything, and then continued to interrupt me several more times as I attempted to make sure she understood what I would like. Finally, she told me that I couldn’t wait by the chair as I was still trying to explain how I would like the haircut to be fixed. Again, I realize that mistakes happen and I was not upset about having to go back in. I’m also sure that it’s somewhat stressful trying to stay safe while cutting hair during COVID, but this doesn’t give you a free pass to treat customers this way – especially if you’d like to keep them coming back. There are many other places we could have gone, and we’ll probably choose differently next time.
