I have never wrote a bad review before but I’m a fuming right now. My husband took our son to get a haircut here. We never had a problem before, but he came home crying cause she knicked his ear. On top of that his haircut was uneven. You can see lines in the back that wasn’t faded and his sideburns are crooked.

We’ve been very happy with our cuts before, but most recently, we were not. The stylists didn’t really listen to what we wanted, moved very quickly, and we ended up with hair that was too short or hardly touched at all. They are short staffed and it is a popular location so maybe it was just a one off.

Hours are short and not practical for working people. The african-american women is really nice and great with my young boys. The caucasian women is borderline rude and loves to talk but cannot talk and cut or comb at the same time. It took her way to long to cut the adult in the chair before my 6 yr old. I asked her a couple of question about the cut as she was working on my son and her body language and face showed great irritation.

Not quite the cut I wanted but nice to have it cut! Had to wait a long time while two stylists worked in one customer and the manager/owner got a hair cut from another stylist leaving me sitting for at least an additional 30+ minutes. My stylist was nice and friendly but didn’t quite did what I had asked her to do. Still happy to have my hair cut though and appreciated her skills!

We had recently moved and tried this Great Clips because it was closer than the one we regularly use. The staff was curt and dismissive when we arrived. The person that cut my daughter’s hair was generally rough. Yanking the comb through her wet hair and pulling her hair to reposition her head. At one point she nicked the back of her neck with the clippers and broke the skin. (I was unaware of this before we left because her hair covered it.) Based on our experience, I don’t recommend this Great Clips location. However, I’ve always been happy with the service that we’ve received from the location at 135th and Stateline.

They estimated a 1 1/2 hour wait with 5 people ahead of me online. Just needed a trim and nobody was there so they say me down and 15 minutes later I was out the door. Great experience and I love my hair again! Thanks Great Clips of Leawood!

Check in online. A joke. Twice it sent me the first email saying 15 minutes. I show up and I am not on the list. They want you to wait in your car but never follow up with when you are supposed to come in. What a waste of time. It wouldn’t be so bad if they actually gave a good hair cut.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST HAIRCUT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!! i had had my hair cut here once before, and everything went well. On my second visit, I was assigned to a different stylist, Toni, who was terse from the start. I asked her to take an inch of the top and back, and use a #3 clipper to trim the sides, then blend them into the top and back.She also had notes from my previous visit, which gave identical directions, yet she could not grasp this simple concept, and became increasingly aggressive and rude. I remained quiet and walked on egg shells to avoid further aggravating her, but when i mentioned that the sides weren’t quite short enough, she ripped my apron off me and told me to leave…with half a hair cut and a wet head!! When I spoke to the manager, he simply said that he would assign me to a different stylist next time! WHAT NEXT TIME?!!! Not only did he lose me as a customer, he lost my wife and son, as well. There are plenty of other places to get your hair cut. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!.
