I just walked out of the store and had the best haircut from an absolutely adorable lady named Marlene. She gave me an outstanding haircut in world record time. Honestly probably the highest quality haircut I have had in years. She brightened my day, and I will make sure to come back to see her when I am back in town over Christmas! Would highly recommend going to see her

Went in with low expectations. The staff seemed bothered that lots of guests were showing up at 9am for a cut. I wanted to ask my stylist to take a little more off but she made a comment to me: take a good look and tell me if you like it so I don’t have to keep going back.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI took my kids to get their before school hair cuts recently. My older three are all typical children and my youngest who is four was born with special needs. He is nonverbal and is unable to walk due to his low muscle tone and global development delays. He acts about like the age of a one year old. He has had his haircut multiple times at a different salon and it has not been an issue. I brought them into great clips and immediately felt unwelcome . Nathan though non verbal makes “ahhhh” sounds especially when he is excited. And it was evident that the women in the shop didn’t appreciate his sounds. I did all I could to keep him from “talking” so as not to bother them. We put down the kids names and I happened to put my special needs son in first but each time a person called his name for his turn they would relook at the screen once they realized it was him and would call another one of my kids instead. When My special guy was the only one left on the list the lady called his name and I walked him over to the chair and began to explain that he had special needs but that he’s a very sweet kid and that he’s had his haircut multiple times and it’s never been an issue. Outside of my son making his sounds he was being compliant and sitting in the chair. He does have a bit of a head roll that he does a few times a minute. The hairdresser didn’t even attempt to cut his hair she simply said “I don’t feel comfortable cutting his hair I’m afraid I will hurt myself or him.” I explained that he has had his hair cut multiple times and that she didn’t need to use scissors if she felt uncomfortable she could use the electric buzzer with the safety on. I also explained that I know it can take a bit more patience to cut his hair but it usually doesn’t take that much longer and I don’t expect it to be perfect. I also offered to help hold his hands or hold him if that would help. She responded with, “we have the right to refuse service to anyone and I don’t feel comfortable cutting his hair. Also parents aren’t allowed to hold children, it’s policy.” He was able to sit up unassisted in the chair! None of the other four or so hair dressers in the salon offered to help cut his hair either. There was no one else waiting in line. We were the only family left in the store. It’s not like they were under time pressure. I sadly paid for my other kids and still gave a decent tip and left with tears in my eyes. I know cutting My sons hair would have been a bit harder than a typical kid but it really would have meant so much to me if they had been welcoming and kind and simply tried. They were not sympathetic in their response and had an attitude of “how dare you expect us to cut his hair?” It was the way they treated the situation that hurt the most. Like we weren’t worthy of their time. I was angry and sad that a child would be turned away without a second thought. He is a kind and easy going kid and I’ve never had a problem at other salons. If you have a child with special needs or even just a child at all I would avoid this salon.Service: HaircutI took my kids to get their before school hair cuts recently. I called to make sure they were open. I was told yes and go ahead and check in online. I did and I arrived on time. The shop was dark and the door was locked. A woman came to the door, poked her head out and said sorry we’re closing due to weather. I said but I just called and you told me to make a check-in appointment online! She said, well, we’ll see you tomorrow. I said sadly No, you won’t, as she shut and locked the door in my face while I was speaking to her.

I am not from this area and needed my haircut. I was at the salon when it opened on Saturday. Laura did a great job! She cut my hair to my satisfaction, and I love it!

We had two great cuts for the kids. Usually a four star type of deal but very nice folks took care of the kids.

Critical: ProfessionalismHorrible customer service. My hairdresser, Pat, was extremely rude. She made it more than clear that she was off at 5 o’clock and was ready to go (It was 4:30).It took her a total of 2 minutes to trim a few inches off my hair and when I politely asked her to cut just one more inch off her response was huffing and puffing and yanking my hair around to clip it back up. I stopped her and left without the extra inch and since I’m not a horrible person, tipped her more than she deserved. I’ve never encountered such outright rudeness from a service industry and will not be going back.Horrible customer service. My hairdresser, Pat, was extremely rude. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityWhen the web site says I have seven minutes of wait time, and I know it only takes me two or three minutes to get there, I know I have time to arrive. Critical: ProfessionalismWorst Great clips I have ever been to. The woman are so unfriendly and completely intolerant of children. Do not go here if you have children. This location is not kid friendly. They are also very slow as well, and will not even see you if you have not checked in online, even if no one is in there! They make you go online.
