Was here a couple years ago in June 2020 and will never go back I just got around to writing a review, I had my haircut at this place by a lady named charlotte and the second day after my haircut I had several painful bumps on my head that my dermatologist determined to be MRSA and said it was due to them not cleaning their clippers. Which is disgusting considering we were in the middle of a pandemic at the time and every place should clean their clippers. I do not recommend going to this place, I don’t know if the place is any different now but I got a severe scalp infection on my head after a haircut here and have never had any issues with that at sports clips in Collinsville or Fairview Heights, if I still had the pictures from back then I would post them to show you how bad it was from just getting a haircut here, If you want to go to a place that won’t give you a staph infection on your head go to sports clips not here, now it obviously doesn’t happen all the time or there wouldn’t be business here at all but whenever I went it was clear that they weren’t that clean and that’s why I ended up getting a staph infection on my scalp. Hope everyone heeds my warning and goes somewhere else

I walked in and was immediately greeted by a 30 minute wait time and a older lady with witch-like hair frowned at me and told me to wait, I politely responded with a alright. After my 30 minute wait I asked them for a simple trim.. one inch of hair off. I left the store pretty much bald. Bad service bad stylists and a huge wait time. All for a haircut. I do not recommend. At all.

The cut was pretty basic, I didn’t need much. But I was expecting to come in and get a wash and cut. I got a water bottle spray and cut. For $17. When I asked, my stylist told me they were not doing washes at that time. I looked at the sinks. I asked if it was because of covid, and she said mostly because they had too many customers and not enough time to wash hair. It was a Great Clips thing. It was 9:00 a.m. on a weekday. There was one person waiting. The cut was fine, but I’ve never had a haircut where my hair was partially wet. I didn’t think this was something I should have asked for when I arrived. I’ll just go back to Fantastic Sam’s.

The response was pure rudeness. Waited a couple weeks and went back in (with a mask). This time I wasn’t even allowed to take my mask off when I was in the process of taking a Hoodia off.
