I went here just to get a simple hair trim to get rid of dead ends. The hair dresser was distracted by everything else in the salon which I tried to look past as it was busy. Then she had my hair cut within 5 mins of sitting down which I also just thought maybe she just is fast and knows what she’s doing. Boy was I wrong. It was not until I was home that it was pointed out that my hair was not only uneven but also cut into a ‘V’ shape. When all my hair is on my back the very clearly goes to a point and makes a V. It’s not subtle either. I have been growing my hair for so long and now that I will have to go get it fixed and it’s going to make it incredibly short. VERY unhappy. I will not be bringing my service back here again. I am not one to leave a review typically but I just can’t look past this.

My son got a haircut about a month ago and it was not trimmed evenly. At all. About 6 in. cutoff altogether. It was such a blunt cut it didn’t sit right bc of how curly his hair is. The “stylist” didn’t explain anything to him or even let him look in the mirror with his glasses until she was done. He was mortified and got bullied at school. Really wish I knew her name but I was not with him when he got it cut. Whoever it was needs to go back to school to learn to do an even cut at least. Terrible experience.

Terribly rude and rough for an 8yr old haircut. Cranky and rude. Hurt my sons head by being so rough, and huffing and puffing the whole time she’s giving a haircut. Edwardsville, IL on Troy road hairdressers name is Julia. She deserved a $0 tip but decided on her own to add on her own tip. So this was a 0% satisfactory visit to day the least.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. She was being extremely rude to my 6 year old son with thick, tight, curly hair saying “it wouldn’t hurt so bad if you’d brush your hair” and he was literally flenching with tears in his eyes because of how rough she was being. She trimmed his bangs and asked if that was good. I wanted them a little shorter but just said yes because she was being so aggressive and hard on him and she kept complaining that he wasn’t looking straight but it was because he was FLENCHING because of how rough she was being AND she was being passive aggressive with me about his hair because it’s tangly. Uhm? It’s tight and curly. Of course it’s going to be tangly. Instead of offering me advice or being kind in gentle it was a complete disaster. I will never come back here. I honestly can’t believe someone would treat a child so horribly OVER HAIR.

Checked-in online. Walked in, all hairdressers were finishing clients. I’m bringing my 2 year old so timing is crucial to say the least. Everyone finishes up including the gal we requested. Cleans her station…. Then just sits around (could have easily cut my child’s hair in that time frame) until the next checked-in person arrives and we were told he was first. Well, never going there again, stood there for over 30 minutes to be told a guy checked in online before therefore he was next. Even though we were there 20 minutes before him AND checked in online. What a joke.

I went in and had the pleasure of being Lauren’s client. She took her time to look at the pictures I showed her and went over step by step of what she was doing during the process. I came in with side bangs that I was less than pleased with and she was able to fix them while keeping the length! I don’t know how she did it, but I’m glad she did! I hope she’s there when I return next!!

Great experience, we checked on line, and yes you can check in online, or walk in, there was no waiting at 10AM, they were very friendly, my granddaughter and I got haircuts, Lynn cut mine, it was the best haircut I had in a very long time, and she was pleasure to talk to, I’m not sure the ladies name who cut my granddaughters, but she did a great job as well. I highly recommend Great Clips.

I’ve been going to this location for YEARS. Most do a GREAT job, but the past few months the constancy isn’t there. Today I was with a stylist that didn’t meet my expectations the previous time, but I chalked that up to miscommunication from me. I asked her to read my notes, showed her a picture, then when she asked “How does it look?” I stated what needs to be done to complete the haircut…. Her response led me to believe that she’s not properly equipped to complete the tasked that is asked of her. I know it can be done, because everyone in that store does it. If she didn’t have the proper tools, why would she take on the job and/or why would the manager allow someone take on customers knowing it may not meet their expectations???
