Not only are they excellent stylists, who workquickly and so efficiently to provide their services at veryreasonable prices, but they are also wonderful, caring individuals!!An example of this last attribute was demonstrated to my family, yetagain, on a recent Sunday when my 97-year-old father, who is crippledand slowed by two bad knees and heart problems and uses a walker(rollator), was having an especially difficult day, but still wanted to geta haircut before closing time at 2pm. He was checked into the GreatClips app a couple of hours before closing, but was struggling to getready and into the car for the ride over to the salon. Arriving just afternormal 2pm closing time, the staff was ready and waiting, having beeninformed by us of the late arrival and eager to help!! Critical: Professionalism, QualityI am a loyal Great Clips customer and I have my son’s hair cut done at Great Clips since he’s 6. Recently moved to Illinois and had his first haircut done at this location this morning and the experience was awful. The lady who cut his hair was very rude and not professional. The store wasn’t busy, one customer was done and ready to leave, we were the only customer. I always present but keep a good distance when my son gets hair cut if the store’s not busy/crowded because my son is shy and he doesn’t communicate well. The lady told me that I don’t have to stand there and watch, she won’t scalp him. I could tell my son’s embarrassed so I didn’t argue with her and sat down at the waiting area. Not surprisingly, she started to chat with her co-workers while cutting my son’s hair. She asked me to take a look and it’s not good, his hair sticking out on the top and several areas were not cut evenly but we had enough with her so we just left. I am a loyal Great Clips customer and I have my son’s hair cut done at Great Clips since he’s 6. Recently moved to Illinois and had his first haircut done at this location this morning and the experience was awful. The lady who cut his hair was very rude and not professional.
