Worst salon experience I’ve ever had. I went in for a cut after a few years and the male stylist was not engaged at all and had a bad attitude while discussing what to do with my hair. He never tried to make conversation and was chomping on his gum loudly in my ear. I was literally in and out of the salon in 10 mins to go home and find uneven pieces of hair. Its understood that we’re not getting red carpet ready at Great Clips but we wanna feel good after leaving a hair salon and I got nothing close to that from this location.

I’d a haircut by Eddy yesterday. It was one of the most unpleasant experience for me getting a haircut. The guy was extremely unpersonable, rude, condescending, self entitled and full of himself. First thing he did, blasted his phone with Latin music making it difficult for me to communicate. I’d told him that I am losing hair so make sure that you don’t expose those spots. After the cut when he showed me in the mirror, I pointed out an exposed bald spot. Very rudely he said, that’s your head I can’t put hair where you don’t have it! Seriously? I know I wasn’t at Bosley Institute, no need to insult the customer.

Not great but not terrible. It’s a clean shop but you aren’t really engaged and it’s ok to have stylists talk amongst each other as long as they don’t lose attention. I often find uneven sideburns and areas around ears that are overlooked. 3 out of 5 times this is the case which is why I gave 3 star rating.

All of the employees that really knew how to cut hair at the Evanston location have fled this location, leaving stylists that can’t give you an even haircut. I’m literally at home right now and my wife is trying to fix the lousy, uneven haircut I received at this location. You know when the stylist gets you in an out of the chair in 5 minutes that they have no interest in doing good work. I won’t be back.

I posted before as Rebecca Plantz. I did have an amazing experience once. Since then, its been so so. Last time I ended up with hair I despise. My fault…great clips is for fast haircuts thats why its cheap, and I asked for a womens layered cut. My hair dresser was super kind and kept telling me how great I looked just how I asked. So the customer experience was sweet…but my hair was actually shorter than I asked and looked like it came from another decade in a not so good way.

The haircut I got was pretty good and very fast. Stylist had a mask and hand sanitizer, but no face guard. Overall, safety precautions were acceptable. However, I’m giving 3 stars because the age 50ish male stylist told me I looked tired.
