Updating my review from a year ago. I went back here for a trim, nothing unusual. The young fellow who cut my hair spent less than 5 minutes on me and totally hacked my hair. He obviously didn’t know what he was doing and now my hair is all uneven and looks horrible. Now I have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I’m very unhappy and disappointed because I used to enjoy going here.

There were two stylists on duty in the early evening of a weekday. My online registration time involved no waiting and I was quickly being taken care of. Masks are required. Tools and smocks are sanitized and appropriate social distance from other staff and customers is maintained. One other customer arrived during my haircut.

I began patronizing this shop a little over a year ago when the initial Covid restrictions concerning salons and barbershop was lifted. This hair salon hires skilled staff who take pride in their work and provide excellent service for a reasonable price For the first 3 haircuts I was attended to by different stylists who all gave consistantly good haircuts at this location but now use Danny every time. He is always friendly and proffesional in his demeanor and skill set. I use a cane to get around and Danny goes out of his way to make sure I am able to safely and comfortably have a seat at his station. I have gone here for about 3 years. There is a mom and daughter who work here. Mom is Michelle. Daughter is Zoe. Both are very good stylists. However, today both were in. Mom had people waiting so I went to Zoe (I have seen her 4 times now). She gave me one of the best hair styles I ever got in my life. I showed her 3 photos and said not so short or angled and she delivered. I told mom, Michelle, that I am switching permanently to Zoe. Mom was very proud.

I have been going to Great Clips in Lombard for several years and have followed the journey of the business. I am always completely satisfied when I leave feeling happy and confident with my haircut. I am fortunate to be able to have a stylist like Arsenia, who is incredibly sweet, detail-oriented, gifted, and willing! I have been seeing her for a long time and she truly knows what she’s doing and will make you feel rigjt at home at the stop. Not to mention, it’s always a fun time to get my haircut from her and see friendly stylists like Michelle and Tanisha. I appreciate the hard work these people do as they can make the greatest difference with their clippers! I would highly recommend anyone to visit this store for a haircut.
