Great Clips

Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been coming here for years and have never left unhappy until today. It had been a while since I had gotten my last haircut so my hair was a bit of a mess but Chrissy made several comments about how bad it looked almost as soon as I got in the chair. I thought this was completely unnecessary and rude. I barely said a word the entire time because I was so embarrassed. I wish I had spoken up though because she proceeded to cut my hair way shorter than I had asked. I asked for a 2 on the sides and half inch off the top but I walked out looking like I had gotten a buzz cut. I don’t know if she thought it looked better that way but it’s not what I asked for. When she asked how it looked I just gave a quick “looks good” bc I was dying to get out of there but she responded “at least for a little bit it does” which again I thought was incredibly rude. I’ve been coming here for years and have never left unhappy until today. It had been a while since I had gotten my last haircut so my hair was a bit of a mess but Chrissy made several comments about how bad it looked almost as soon as I got in the chair. I thought this was completely unnecessary and rude. I barely said a word the entire time because I was so embarrassed. And it was cut way too short. The only way I could style my hair was to the side because my hair was too short, and it exposed my forehead. I was very surprised at how poor the haircut was. I think it might be about time to stop going to great clips, and going somewhere else and spending a little bit more money. For the past few years this place was always my go to. But the past few times I went I haven’t been happy with my haircut. Maybe it’s the stylist, but yesterday when I went, I asked for a two on the sides and half an inch of the top. I also let the stylist knew I style my hair down the middle and wanted to keep my wavy hair. However she cut way more than half an inch off. My hair was left very uneven. He was methodical and crafty. One thing that I liked was how he explained the different clipper sizes. Normally they just say numbers but he told me how each one would turn out!! He also spent alot more time than other people!! He used scissors alot more! Jacob is great!! Great experience! I normally go to another location, but they had no wait, so I went in. My hair was cut by Jacob. He did a amazing job!! He was methodical and crafty. One thing that I liked was how he explained the different clipper sizes. Normally they just say numbers but he told me how each one would turn out!! He also spent alot more time than other people!! He used scissors alot more! Jacob is great!! Great experience! I will be back!

One of the stylists, Steve, has gone above and beyond to help accommodate my son’s sensory issues to ensure that he is comfortable and gets a perfect cut each time. He refuses to let anyone else cut his hair. Recently, Steve went above and beyond to accommodate my kids’ medical issues allowing them to get a haircut despite strict restrictions put in place by their doctor. For this, I am so grateful! One of the stylists, Steve, has gone above and beyond to help accommodate my son’s sensory issues to ensure that he is comfortable and gets a perfect cut each time.
