After a year of growing out my hair I came in to get a cut inspired by Aurora, the Norwegian artist. The stylist said she could do it and then proceeded to cut a simple bob very unevenly, butcher the longer strands which I ultimately had to cut off at home, and cut the thinnest bangs I’ve had in 10 years. I was gutted when I went home and noticed just how uneven it was. On top of that, she had a terrible attitude from the moment I walked in. I assumed she was competent since the only stylists I’ve been to see in the past that acted this way did fantastic work. But no, she was both unkind and inept.

Called to schedule an appointment and was told that this salon only does `online check-ins’ for 2 hours in advance or less. I asked `when is a good time to stop in’ and was told `we fill up fast in the morning, so get here right away.’ No guarantees, no scheduling and every hairdresser is too busy for me apparently.

The Detroit lakes, Minnesota location closed and apparently it’s permanently? Very unprofessional that you close a location and not contact the clients in your system to offer alternatives. This was the closest location to me and now the next closest location is over an hour drive.
