I am a regular Great Clips customer in Iowa. Online this place showed busy and wouldn’t let me make a reservation at 1pm, 3 hours before their 4pm close. I decided to stop in at 3:30pm to see if they could squeeze me in. I have short hair and a haircut take 5-10 minutes for me with a clipper. When I arrived, there were 3 stylists working and one customer in a seat, two stylists doing nothing and no customers waiting. They refused to serve me because they had online orders in waiting… I went to Sports Clips nearby which had the same situation and they walked me right into a seat and I was done before anyone showed up. I’m very disappointed that Great Clips was more concerned about leaving for the day rather than making another tip.

Online check in is great. I know my wait time before I leave my house. I don’t need to make and remember an appointment time. Haircut turned out really good. Cost 20 percent less than salon even with a nice tip added to their low pricing for guys cut. Conversation was less than the salon… But not to the point of being uncomfortable. I need a haircut, not a psychologist.
