I have been so impressed with the Great Clips in Winona! I’m a care taker for an 83 year old woman with moderate dementia. Not only is this location accessible with online check ins, but Amy specifically is fantastic. She is kind, with a gentle tone and ability to calm the nerves of a typically anxious, sweet older woman. This is our second time coming here for a cut and I won’t take her anywhere else! Thank you so much Amy and the entire team at Great Clips!

Terrible! I told the stylist to cut a little bit off maybe an inch, and then they cut off like 3 inches! Literally measured an inch to cut off with their own hands!! How can you possibly measure it, then cut off more than you measured?! Even at the end, the stylist didn’t even seem sure they did it the way I wanted… Waste of money! Do not go to this great clips, I know I won’t.

Critical: QualityI went here for the first time this morning. I can honestly say that I got by far the worst haircut of my life and I don’t foresee me going back any time in the near future. I hadn’t gotten a haircut in a while so I just needed to get it shorted up. By the time it was over I ended up looking like a clown with the front & top being way shorter than the sides and back by about 2 inches. In fact there were several spots that were never cut and my hair wasn’t shortened up at all. I ended up going home and using a clipper myself to even it out to look somewhat decent. I hadn’t gotten a haircut in a while so I just needed to get it shorted up. Terrible service and an even worse haircut. While waiting for my haircut the stylist was complaining and had an attitude the entire time. Apparently she’s overwhelmed by the sheer amount of awful haircuts she has to provide in a day. For the entire 30 minutes I was there she was acting completely unprofessional, off-putting, and creating a hostile atmosphere for her staff and customers. Unfortunately, I also had to experience a haircut from her as well. In the 5 minutes she spent on my hair, she managed to butcher the entire cut with a razor. I asked for a slightly asymmetrical textured undercut and instead left with a botched fringe. Usually I go to a salon, or even have my girlfriend do maintenance, but I thought the simplicity of the haircut could be handled at Great Clips. Now I have scheduled an appointment to go get my hair fixed by someone that actually cares about their work and customers. If you are thinking about Great Clips to save some money you are better off attempting to cut your own hair.

I have been going to the Winona Great Clips for several years now and I can honestly say I have never walked away unhappy. They are always pleasant and patient while I am trying to explain what I want. What I really love is that if I change my mind I can afford to come back in a couple of weeks. Also, being able to sign in from home so I can come shortly before the time they will be able to cut my hair. It has always been a pleasant experience and I am very happy that we have a Great Clips in Winona, MN.
