Excellent and ruining my Veterans Day. I seldom participate in free meals and things offered to veterans on Veterans Day but today I decided I’d get that free haircut at great clips. I arrived and was told only this,” sign it and it will be about 25 minutes. “. This hairstylist named AMY was not a people person and I had to pry communication from her. Including her name. Worst experience of my life. I told her how excited I was to be getting my hair cut softer not going in for years . I can’t afford it and I’m a hairdresser. I asked her not to give my natural curl a mushroom look so she did just that but worse. It’s somewhere between a mushroom and a mullet. She cut all the curls on top from 8 uncles to 3. It will take years to grow it back. Saddens me in the worst way. Hey great clips, if you don’t want to host the free event the one day a year thst you have , then DONT. Nobody wants this free service. I’ve told this story dozens of times. A cosmetology school is a better option. I’ll never come back.

Decided it was time to fix the haircut my son gave me as I slept. I knew it would be short to even it out and I’m not a fan of short hair on myself but I love it!! I’ve gotten many compliments on my new hair. Made my appointment on their website and it went smoothly with no wait time when I entered the salon. Staff was friendly. Had an overall great experience. I went in for a double process color. I was quoted a price 50 dollars less over the phone first of all…. When i went in i actually had to sign a release form that if they ruin my hair i still have to pay. That should have been my first indication to run like hell. The color was not what i had shown the stylist, who was obviously just out of school, the photo of what i wanted. My hair has yellowish orange streaks . they said another 50 to tone. I walked out at that point.
