All the employees are good at cutting hair, they cut hundreds each week. Just tell them what you would want done, then sit back and relax. I recommend

Fantastic experience. Mindy? I think was her name, was one of the best stylists I have had. Did cuts for and my son and I. Not only did she do a great job, it was like having an old friend doing it. Haircut

Positive: QualityCome to this Great Clips location any time you’re looking for a great haircut at an affordable price. I’ve been going to this location exclusively for the last four years because they have the friendliest staff of any salon I’ve been to, and they care more about the quality of your cut than getting you out the door as fast as possible, which is important to me.Make sure you ask for Megan! The ladies here are always super friendly. I’m happy with my last cut, I gave her creative freedom and she couldn’t have done better. I’ll definitely be back. I stopped going to my salon because I was imprinting once and they asked me to put my firearm in my car (because that’s so much safer right). I’ve open carried at Great Clips and no one seems to mind. (I believe in gun control but I also believe in the right to protect myself/others and have a background in emergency medicine.) Definitely my go-to for a quick haircut. I like how cheap it is, too, because it leaves me room to leave a generous tip.

I was on my lunch break and running around near this GC, so I looked and did online check-in since it said there was a 0 minute wait. I assumed I’d get right in given that and that I was literally only a couple minutes away, but apparently not; both stylists there were already working on customers.

Yesterday, I walked in here to see if I could get my hair trimmed in preparation for travel. The woman who met me at the door was a little standoffish not rude, just standoffish. I asked if the stylists were used doing my kind of hair. I have noticed that in the US, people with my kind of hair tend to go to salons where they are certain they will get the service they need. I have experienced mixed results at a variety of salons. I needed to check. The young lady mentioned that anyone who was available would do it. Then she entered me into the system. So I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and returned in 10 minutes for the trim. On return, a different lady met me at the door and said “You came back!” Interesting, I thought, “Was I not supposed to return?” She ushered me to her chair and I asked her if she had experience with my kind of hair. Her response “I have done blue, red, pink hair!” Then it all came together. I calmly explained myself in a soft voice, “I understand that this is America, and everything is about race. But this is not about race. I only need to know if you have the experience to do my hair!” She, then, changed her tone and affirmed that I only want to be sure I got the service I needed. She did fine after that with a little help. On reflection, I wanted to give her a thumbs up because she clued in and responded positively even offering to sell me some product to keep my hair moist. Far be it from my to understand fully how deeply “race” factors in the lives of people growing up in the US. I am learning everyday. I do hope and pray that we will listen to each other and to ourselves. “A soft answer turns away wrath!” Proverbs 15.1. Thank you for the trim! I will return!
