This is an awesome great clips location. It is right off of university ave and egret in blaine. The staff is very awesome and friendly. They remember a lot of the customers and treat them like family. Doesnt seem to be much of a turnover rate at this location as ive seen the same exployees working for the last few years.

I was turned away from Sports Xlips in Blaine not by only 1, but 2…females that work there. Because they wouldn’t cut my hair the way I’d asked them to (which was to almost shave it entirely on one side and let in fade around the other side of my head to a chin length half Bob style!) So, I called Great Clips on University Extension and when I got there the AWESOME AND HILARIOUS Lady (I wish I’d gotten her name!) who did cut my hair like I wanted…looked confused at first when I’d told her about my Sports Clips encounter just mere moments prior. Upon showing her the pic of the hair cut I wanted, she sat me in her stylists chair and had me cracking up the entire time I was there. She said at the end, that it would’ve been a cool idea to do a before and after…but it was obviously too late at that time.
