As far as great clips go, they are going the extra mile here to get you to tip…which is nice, but causes major, major long wait times….. 20 minute wait turns into 45 minutes. Other great clips are able to nail good and fast cuts at the same time

She was super thorough in my consultation and made sure she was very clear on what I wanted. She asked my permission every step of the way even going so far to ask if adding a conditioning spray was okay. She was very careful on what she was doing and I ended up absolutely LOVING my hair. While she worked her magic on my seriously dry and damaged covid hair, we had the most lovely conversation. She was open and kind and genuine. I highly recommend this salon and especially Melody. I do not do online check-in or anything, but the wait was not bad at all! Maybe like, 15 minutes. I came on a weekday around 1 p.m., so I didn’t expect it to be too busy, but that was fast. They did a really good job considering I don’t know much about describing a haircut. The staff was very friendly and struck up conversation although we were both visibly tired from the rainy weather. Will return for my next trim.

I checked in online, and the wait said 52 min. So, I’m thinking okay I’ll get some stuff done around the house. Maybe 15 min go by and I look at the update and it says est. Wait time is 44 min. So, I go back to doing things around the house. Another 15 min go by and I look at the est. Wait time is 34 min. Then, another 10 min go by and I look at the wait time and it jumped back up to 48 min wait time. I called and asked them about the jump and they said they are busy. I understand business gets busy but don’t sit there and treat your walk ins more important than the people who check in online! I get some people don’t show up with online check ins but they need to manage the people who check in first, regardless of online or not! Extremely disappointed with service. I’ve had this happen multiple times and I’m done going to great clips. If you can’t honor your online check in app then don’t even offer something that is supposed to be convenient.
