I live 40 minutes from this Great Clips and because every business near me I called was booked out until September, I decided to try Great Clips in Rice Lake, Wi. Boy am I glad I did! A friend suggested I see Connie, the owner, and she is one of the sweetest, kindest and most talented stylists I have ever had cut my hair. I live full time in Phoenix, AZ, spend the summers on the lake and I am so fortunate I found Connie! My hair looks fabulous! She had never cut my hair before, yet knew exactly what to do! I checked in on line, as I live a distance away. Which according to the wait time would have worked out perfectly. When we pulled in to the parking lot it said 15 minutes. I waiting 10 and entered the salon. The gal asked if I had checked in online, I asked if I could have Connie. She said it would be a 23 minutes wait. So I walked around with my husband and puppy. I returned in 20 minutes, where a walk in was sitting in the chair. I was told I should have stayed there, and it would be another 20 minutes. I again went outside, as the lobby had a lot of people, and I was not comfortable. I walked until I seen the woman in the chair leave, again went into the salon, and there was YET another person in the chair. I was told they would continue to take others unless I was RIGHT there or if I would go with another stylist. Last time I accepted a different stylist, they messed my hair up badly, and am still trying to recooperate from that. It it pointless to check in on line! Don’t bother. I left this time without my hair cut. Our family won’t be back.

I checked in on line and the wait time was 71 minutes. I ran some errands and my wait time kept going up and down while I was setting in my vehicle. There is no reason to have a waiting list if you let others cut in line. You just lost a ten plus year customer. I will not be back. Very bad business ethics.

I went in to get a haircut one day and a lovely lady named Savannaugh Cut my hair. She did a wonderful job. I have curly hair and she knew exactly how to do it perfectly. I love that i can check in while I’m on my way there. I went in when my ringer said 6 minutes though and as soon as i got seated my wait went up to 13 minutes. At least it only went up a few minutes. Can’t beat the convenience.

I usually get my haircut here. Never had problems till now. I checked in online and said I have a 22 min wait. Perfect I was 15 min away. I got there and they said it will be a 20 min wait . 20 min later they told me it will be another 25 min wait. So I think the check in app is worthless.
