I walked in feeling ready to get my haircut. I sat down and showed the lady what I wanted and she said okay let’s do it. Midway through the haircut I realized she was free styling it. Critical: QualityNormally, not a problem with this place, would give it a 3-4/5. But I went in today, showed the woman 2 options I had in mind and asked for her opinion, opinion was not given, and she just chose one. Then repeatedly said I did not want a pixie cut, that I’d had them in the past, I wasn’t a fan. She assured me it would not be one and that she was cutting at my chin length. Somewhere along the way, it ended up being a pixie. We gave her a huge tip because I couldn’t really gage my feelings on it until I got in the car so I thought it was okay, but she also didn’t show me what it looked like really. When I got to the car, realized how much had been cut, I realized I was not listened to in the slightest. Maybe it was the cut I chose, but again, I had 2 picked out and asked for her opinion on which would look better, she just picked one without really giving an opinion or reasoning why beyond she liked it better, not that it’d look better on me. Anyways moral of the story, usually would give this place a better review, but I was not listened to on multiple occasions (again repeated multiple times I didn’t want a pixie) and ended up in tears when I found out how short she’d gone with the cut. If she couldn’t hear me or didn’t understand because she couldn’t hear me the best, she should’ve said so.
