I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and they were not busy. Person that greeted me was very loud but nice. I gave her my info and she said she was ready to cut my hair right away. I began to look up a picture to show her and she started checking my hair and stated that I had been cutting my own hair and was a horrible job! Only thing she could do was cut it short as short as the longest part of my hair. I asked for some style in the back and about my cowlick in front of my head. She told me that this was all she could do because of me cutting my hair and only way to deal with cowlick. Never once listened or asked questions about what I was wanting just told me how bad I cut my hair. I admitted I cut it but had no choice due to no income. When I was checking out (no idea what her price was) I was given “senior discount” of $15. I gave her $5 tip that I wish I didn’t ! Tara was her name. Again talked very loud and hollered to a man (she knew) about giving her money . Then preceded to tell me about meat they bought directly from the farmer. Again no discussion with me about my haircut just criticize me on how I cut it.

Shirley is amazing. Always. However, when she wasn’t in, this blonde lady in her 40s had a very condescending attitude almost the whole time but did lighten up a bit toward the end. Just a strange personality to have when meeting someone that expects you to tip them. Anywho, EVERYONE is telling me I have a very noticeable bald spot in the back of my head. I have black hair so it’s beyond noticeable. Like it’s almost the size of a penny. I’d put her name on here but I’m nice enough to dig extremely deep into the matter. She positioned the mirror towards the end very strategically because I didn’t catch it.

My wife and i came here last night to get both of our hair cut. We checked in online and selected two people will be getting our hair cut. We were not warmly greeted by a woman who continued to rudely tell me i did not check in for two people. That is not that big of a deal. She cut my wifes hair first and did a good job. Next, i was up. I had been growing my hair out for a year. I showed the woman a picture of how i always get my hair cut. I have my neck and sides trimmed and faded up. I specifically said to leave all the length on the top. She continued to first thing chop off what was 6″-8″ of hair down to an inch or so on the top sides of my hair. I wear glasses and was unable to see when she asked if it looked good so i said sure just to get out of there as we had our baby with us. She even laughed and said she could get double sided tape to put it back on, obviously knowing what she did. Our total was for $31.xx and i was nice enough to leave an $8.xx tip totalling $40.00. As soon as i get home and look in the mirror, i realize the woman had given me a haircut to look like Hitler!!! It is horrible! and what makes me most angry is that my $40.00 total tab with tip was run for $42.00. I guess someone thought they could just skim a couple extra dollars off the top. So all in all, i end up with a terrible HITLER haircut and a couple extra dollars stolen from me. We will not ever be returning here.

I have been going to the 22nd street location for years. Unfortunately they closed so I searched for the next location closest to me. I’ve never been here before but it was an excellent experience. Tara did a great job on my hair and was extremely nice. Highly recommend her!
