Critical: Professionalism, QualityWent in to have my hair trimmed, I asked her to take off a couple of inches. She continued to get interupted during my hair cut, answering the phone, checking people in, we really didn’t talk that much as she kept apologizing for the interruptions. At one point in time we talked about where I normally get my hair done and I mentioned I USE to get my hair layered…. BIG MISTAKE… she heard what she heard and decided I wanted layers even though I just asked for a two inch trim.Anyway, life got busy, had a surgery, work was crazy and then Christmas and New Years was approaching so I was wearing my hair up. I went Into work one day with my hair down and my co-worker noticed how my hair looked and took this photo. WHAT? IS THAT? So I called Great Clips and asked for the manager… low and behold the girl that had cut my hair was the manager. Grrrrrrrrrrreat!So I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she misunderstood me and thought I said I wanted layers, although I’ve never had layers look quite like this so either way something needed to be done with my Flintstone looking hair. I also cut hair for a living as I am a dog groomer and if someone isn’t happy with their dog I would much rather them come to me and let me know what they’re unhappy about so I can fix it or do it differently next time. That is how you build a good relationship with a client. So I thought okay I’ll go in and just talk to her, ask her to fix it. ANOTHER BIG MISTAKEI go into the salon, I showed her the photo and she said, your hair isn’t even combed in this photo all snarky like… which it was, she just decided she wanted act like a child and be argumentative, immediately defensive, stating that I said I wanted layers. She wasn’t apologetic, she wasn’t nice, just completely defensive and wanted to argue with me, she was huffing and puffing and looking around at her Co workers like I was the crazy one and when I talked to her she would say “whatever” I was really close to just walking straight out of there and just getting my money back! She then asked me, so you just want it straight now? I said, I want it to be fixed, she said well we will need to take another 3 inches off. Ah. Ya no kidding. So with complete awkward tension surrounding us she blunt cut my hair and Basically I had 6 inches of my hair removed, had I know that was going to happen I would have gone to my regular stylist, had them cut off 8 inches and donated it to wigs for kids. Besides even if I did say layers, does that look like layers? No it looks like the Flintstones hair.I felt her to be very rude and unprofessional. I will NOT ever be returning. Never again, I will make sure to make an advanced appointment at my normal stylist as to be able to get an appointment during their busy time.Went in to have my hair trimmed, I asked her to take off a couple of inches. Went in to have my hair trimmed, I asked her to take off a couple of inches. She continued to get interupted during my hair cut, answering the phone, checking people in, we really didn’t talk that much as she kept apologizing for the interruptions. Critical: QualityI have used many Great Clips throughout the US.Gaylord was by far was the worst. Went in for a haircut and wash. It was the worst cut I have ever had. Asked to take 3 to 4 inches off and they cut it blunt all the way across and then said done. there was no chance to look at it. I wanted to cry when I left. I have used many Great Clips throughout the US.Gaylord was by far was the worst. Went in for a haircut and wash. It was the worst cut I have ever had. Asked to take 3 to 4 inches off and they cut it blunt all the way across and then said done. there was no chance to look at it. I wanted to cry when I left.
