This is the worst haircut salon in the entire Lansing area. Every time I go there, they destroy my hairline. They don’t properly trim the edges, the hair is left uneven after the haircut, it was also patchy. Usually Great Clips have a really good service, as I have some experience from the Great Clips haircut in Houston, but the Great Clips haircut in Okemos is below average. They even have very less patience, especially Bobbi Jo. Bobbi Jo is so far the worst hair stylist, she was in such a hurry to finish my haircut, she completely spoiled my hair. There are 2 or 3 average hairstylist, like Joy. I recommend Joy, Joy is really good, but still not the best. If you want a good haircut, I recommend you not to choose this salon.

Wife and daughter loved their stylists/cuts, mine however was less than good. I get a high and tight/fade, and i got home and upon close inspection it was patchy and uneven. I’ve been all over the country for work and usually great clips does a good job, or at the least a satisfactory job, but the last couple of times I’ve gone to Okemos I’ve been less than happy with the cuts I’ve received. I’ll be skipping this spot for my cuts in the future

Not long of a wait, Heather cut my hair. She was pretty personable and was pretty flexible with adjustments throughout the process (24 year old male here just needed simple cut on sides and back). Hairstylist had a hard time communicating with me. I felt bad for her because she clearly didn’t know English that well. I didn’t want to make the assumption that just because she didn’t know English didn’t mean she couldn’t do her job but in this case it did. I wish I made the decision to go to a different hair salon before she set me down. Even if communication was better that haircut is still very uneven. Update they were able to fix it.
