I took my daughter here last week on Friday she is 13 years old and mixed with beautiful curly hair I asked the hairstylist who was so sweet to please take off about 2 inches. Although we enjoyed talking with her this is the worst haircut any of my children have ever had she CHOPPED ALL of my daughters hair off and it looks horrible. I didn’t complain at the time of service and even tipped well because the poor woman was working all alone and had to put multiple people on a wait list to continue to give my daughter her attention and I didn’t want my daughter to feel bad. After we got in the car she almost cried. She has also been having a terrible time dealing with this she is at a sensitive age and I regret going here. I realized last night when I attempted to straighten her hair that not only did she chop it all off it is so uneven she cant even wear it straight one side is at least an inch and a half shorter and the back is so short in comparison to the top its layered and completely hacked….did I mention I specifically told this woman NO LAYERS. As nice as she was she clearly does not know how to cut curly hair AT ALL. I will NEVER go back here and if you have curly hair or teenagers I suggest you do not go here either. I only pray it grows back quickly.

Great location which is the Meijer’s on 15 mile and Utica, and some staff are very pleasant and nice and most importantly experienced but on a negative point of view, some of the staff and I mean some not all. Could definitely use some more help with there skill sets and ability to give a good looking hair cut and also some lessons on customer service. If your sign says 9:00 – 6:00 please don’t be rude as you were today and while doing your haircut you rushed and made me feel very uncomfortable and were unable to fix the concerns I expressed with the cut. But I get it, everyone has a bad/tough day and a long one for that so I can look past the bad cut but when it’s repetitive and seems to be happening every-other time when the owner chooses to hire people without proper experience or whatever it may be. Just step it up as a company and as individuals and take great pride in your work no matter what! Don’t matter on the day you’re having, cause your a professional so it’s time to be that and if you can’t I understand and I’ll just start looking elsewhere buy my services.

I had gone in to ask about a specific hair cut and Jenny T. said the name without me telling her. It took me a couple of months to actually get the hair cut but finally did on 1/11/22. Jenny T. cut my hair the way I wanted done. I am very pleased with it and will be going back for trims. Jenny T. was very professional and friendly. Have recommended others to have their done by her. Thanks for the great style.

My brother always comes here to get his haircuts but this time they really messed up his hair. She basically gave him a buzzcut on the sides even though he requested a fade. She also cut the top front part of his hair into basically a bull cut even though my brother only requested for a trim. Then when he asked her to even it out and curve the sides, she made them so uneven that I had to re-trim his hair when we got home to even it out more. She somehow also cut the under part of the front part of his hair, which makes no sense. Will not be coming back here again.

I go here all the time because its the closet place to where I live. The only problem I have is not all of the hair stylist’s know what they are doing or at least haven’t been doing it for very long. I went yesterday and today when I was getting ready to leave I was doing my hair and noticed that on one side of my head is way shorter than the other side. Looks like she gave me a bowl cut on one side. Get it together people!! Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

Typically I have great experiences going to Great Clips but unfortunately this time that I went my hair was completely butchered by one of the hair stylists. I tried giving the benefit of doubt by going home and styling it my self but my layers were extremely uneven and my hair was thinned out in random spots throughout my head when she had used the thinning shears and my length was very uneven as well. I ended up having to go somewhere else and had to have all of my hair cut up to my ears in order to fix it. I am sad to say that I am HIGHLY disappointed by this and will not be coming back here.
