Been using Great Clips for over a decade for simple, nothing fancy, short, haircuts. Primarily due to lower cost. While the quality of cuts at Great Clips varies greatly, depending on the person cutting, this Birmingham location historically has done more consistently acceptable quality cuts.

I will never be going to this great clips again, I took my son once 2 years ago it was an okay hair cut. But this time it was horrible. The lady did no blending, left super long hairs in top it’s all choppy. I had to come home and fix it my sled and they still made me pay it !

Friendly staff that listens to your requests and does a great job of doing well. I’ve had haircuts before at other Great Clips salons, but this was the best experience above all! Went to the location after 4 years, BIG mistake. Its not changed Horrible service, worst among all great clips location. Hair trimmers looked dirty with hairs from previous customers. Lady kept probing what religion I belong to. Worst experience. Again No wonder why there isn’t any wait time compared to other locations

Critical: ProfessionalismThis salon doesn’t follow state rules or have the safety of their youngest clients in mind. I went to get a haircut for my son. He is under two and the stylist, Renee, refused to cut his hair. There is no mask mandate currently in Michigan but if there was, it’s only applicable to children over the age of 2. This is considered a hazard for a young child or infant. She didn’t care and was very rude to me. It’s funny because during the height of covid, I have taken him here when there was a mask mandate, and no one asked him to wear a mask. Its also important to note there was another stylist near her who was unmasked but she didn’t seem bothered. That unmasked stylist said she had stomach issues so couldn’t cut my sons hair either.
