I’ve been coming to this location on State Street in New Albany since I lived to the area nine years ago. Julie is my go-to stylist/barber and it’s always a good time that ends in great results. She takes her time and even helps with my brows and ears. Great beard trim, too! Haircut

Great Clips can be “hit or miss” since you’re basically unable to make appointments with specific people – you get whomever is up next. At least return customers have their preferences stored in the Great Clips database so the stylist can see how your hair gets cut. I also like the ability to check in with the app and see the estimated wait time. In any event, I’ve decided that this State Street Great Clips has been the best locally. The last time I was there, a very pleasant young lady cut my hair and performed all “the old man stuff” like trimming eye brows and running her clippers over my ears, lol! I recommend this Great Clips location if you’re in the New Albany area.

Critical: Quality, ValueSloppy get in get out service. Cut off sideburn on one side and was going to leave the other. Buzzed the side and back of my head with clippers and never touch the top of my head at all. Sprayed my hair with water and NEVER COMBED IT AFTER! Expected me to walk out looking as if I just got out of bed. No neck shave offered. No eyebrow trim. Way more concerned with getting me out to get the next person in. I was in the chair for less then five minutes and looked as if she never touched my head. And of course pointed out where to add the tip in the card reader when paying. I didn’t know how to really explain what I wanted without a picture but she gave me the exact haircut I was aiming for. My husband got his hair cut also. I took him in to try to have them fix it before he starts school and it was 2 min before they closed and they told me to go to the Jeff location. I took him in to try to have them fix it before he starts school and it was 2 min before they closed and they told me to go to the Jeff location.
