I just walked in was going to have hair cut. Decided to absolutely not have one. A young lady named Hanna was checking me in. She was very unfriendly, dry personality, unprofessional. I did not feel welcomed at all! She definitely DID NOT! make feel comfortable to stay let alone have my hair cut by her at all. DEFINITELY WOULD NEVER SET FOOT IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN! UNFRIENDLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. I have never felt as uncomfortable and unwelcomed as I felt walking into any establishement in this City as she made me feel walking into this establishement today.

Absolutely awful. Showed them a photo of the cut I wanted, she said she was confident she could do that. Not even close. The cut was trash. I went home and shaved most of my hair off. If you want a basic dad clip with a two guard all over… This is for you. If you want anything more, don’t bother. Also the staff is hella rude. I wish I could give zero stars, but I can’t.

Both daughter (8yo) and I went in to get haircuts, mine was supposed to be a pixie trim (previously cut at a different salon) and my daughter was transitioning to a pixie. My daughter got a stacked bob instead, despite showing a picture of the desired cut beforehand, but my daughter was too polite to say anything about it until after we left. My hair was buzzed, too short, and barely blended; I’ve had untrained people give me a better trim. I would be more accommodating if the hairstylist had been nice, but she left several times during my cut to go deal with other things and talk to other people (more than the usual answering of phones and the like), and when one stylist went on break, she immediately started whispering to me about how much she didn’t like that stylist and then continued on about drama around the salon. So, yeah, not a great time…I had had a good experience at a different Great Clips location in the past, but apparently their standards don’t carry across the board.

I went in to get my hair cut at the Auburn Indiana location and was asked if I had a mask? I told her no. She said they had face shield or I could use a towel… are you kidding me? Indiana no longer has a mask mandate. Wondering why your establishment isn’t up to date about the virus and all of the immunizations and therapeutics we have know? My concern was for the hairstylist that did apologize. I tip very well. She understood that she lost out. Because of your mask mandate I had to walk out and go to another walk in establishment. Just think of all the customers that don’t let you know they left. Also, believe I will tell at least 10 friends. I find it hard to spend money in an establishment that has rules that I must obey. Sorry this is America and money talks, so I will take my money somewhere that believes in individual choice.

I got my hair cut here for 5+ years, however I stopped going here after covid started due to the following reason: I was sitting in a chair while a stylist was cutting my hair. A man came in (wearing his mask) with his son and was asking for a haircut for his son (who was not wearing a mask), the stylist told him that his son would need to wear a mask. He stated his son has asthma along with several other respiratory issues and can’t have restricted breathing. She looked at him and said “he still has to wear a mask”. Really? Haven’t been back since.

Critical: QualityI went last night around 5:30 to get my hair cut. I get home and the lady completely missed a lot of my hair in the back. She also didn’t cut my hair even it’s a complete mess. Will never use this place ever again. Please get hair stylists that know what they are doing!!
