Do not take your boys here. Take them to a real barber. I have respect for cosmetologists, but Great Clips do not have a standard as to who they hire. This location is full of gossip and uncomfortable vibes. It reminds me of the movie scenes where women are sitting around talking bad about others while they’re getting their hair done, except the women are doing the hair. I won’t ever be back. Go to a barber for your boys. Great Clips has raised their prices once again. Barbers will be cheaper and more specific for any male haircut.

My fiance & I came to this location for the 1st time a while back & really enjoyed the staff members! Having short hair, I find that the littlest mistakes show incredibly. I have since visited here several times & even brought my youngest daughter in for a cut. This was her first significant hair cut & it was a great experience especially for the price!

My son has a real fear of getting his hair cut. I of course being a momma procrastinator waited till the last minute to ge this haircut for preschool. So we went to great clips. Worried I would have a “not so good experience” like I did in the past, I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Well let me tell you that you have one amazing person in that place Julia the assistant store manager was beyond amazing! She was so kind, polite and great with my son! She talked on his level, talk about his interests like his tractor he was holding. She even let him help her glide the clippers through his hair. I was so happy with the cut and her chair side manners. I will be taking him back to her for sure! Thank you Julia. You were a blessing

Critical: Professionalism, QualityFor some reason, the pics won’t load here but I will be sending them to the company when I demand a refund!I typically avoid Great Clips because they always want to rush (all the GC locations, not just Waverly). I only took my kids and boyfriend here because the salon I wanted to take them to was closed and today was the only day we were going to be able to get it done. It was the only other place along our way.The woman that cut my youngest son’s hair did an awful job! When I questioned her and tried to help clarify, she got irate with me, implying she couldn’t be bothered to do his hair right because “people were waiting”. Then, she blamed my son for not having an “exact” idea for her to follow. THEN, she blamed his hair. I was so angry, I asked my boyfriend to oversee the rest of the cut or I’d wind up causing a scene. Of course, he went ahead and paid when she finally gave up and asked for the money, even though our son’s hair was still uneven. Can’t trust a guy to know a good cut, unfortunately. He simply blames the company for hiring a woman who doesn’t know what she’s doing.So, my son’s left with an ugly, uneven, strange version of a dutchboy cut and I have to now find somewhere else that’s open right now to get it fixed. I will be contacting the company to get a refund on this cut.
